Pooja and Aditya, Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar
This vibrant celebration was packed with high-energy dance performances flanked by a palette of regal hues and themes.
Set against the grandeur of Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar, Pooja and Aditya’s wedding was a multi-day celebration of love, laughter, and legacy. Captured exquisitely by WeddingSutra Favorite – WhatKnot, each moment, from vibrant festivities to intimate rituals, was transformed into a visual memory that beautifully mirrored the couple’s exuberant personalities.

How They Met
Though they were in the same school, it wasn’t until years later — with Pooja in Leeds and Aditya in Chicago — that destiny stepped in. A serendipitous YouTube link and a late-night phone call sparked a bond that grew over time, distance, and video calls. A proposal in Greece and a dreamy celebration later, they tied the knot in January 2025.
Wedding Planning
Each event was thoughtfully crafted with its theme and emotion. “As a dancer, I was hoping everyone would boogie at all the functions. And trust me, nobody disappointed,” says Pooja.
Speaking of their photography experience, the couple shared, “WhatKnot was an amazing team, so dedicated and creative. That’s the kind of mix you want. They truly know how to capture moments and make them last forever. They were incredibly accommodating and understood our vision.”

Wedding Functions
Welcome
The festivities began with a relaxed rooftop welcome party, where loved ones gathered for heartfelt reunions and warm introductions. The décor was minimal yet inviting, with traditional Rajasthani touches, like a puppet stall.

Carnival
Set outdoors, the event saw Pooja and Aditya dancing hand-in-hand amid folk performers, dhol beats, and exuberant décor. Guests mingled beneath pastel streamers and signage inspired by the couple’s love story, soaking in the lighthearted spirit of the day. “It started raining, but we saw it as the Rain Gods showering their love on us,” says Aditya. “It made everything even more special.”

Sangeet
The sangeet was a glittering affair in tones of black and gold. Against this glamorous backdrop, Pooja’s shimmering silver lehenga and Aditya’s classic black sherwani created a striking contrast. The dance floor lit up with performances and confetti, capturing the excitement of two families coming together.

Haldi
For their haldi, the couple broke tradition with a cool palette of white and blue, letting guests bring the sunshine in vibrant yellow attire. A daisy-inspired backdrop with rattan accents set a breezy, cheerful mood. “We wanted to keep it fresh and floral, something joyful but unexpected,” says Pooja.

Wedding
Their wedding ceremony was an ode to timeless elegance. Rich hues of red, ivory, and gold tied the décor, attire, and ambience into a regal tapestry. Pooja made a breathtaking entrance under a phoolon ki chadar of white blooms, while Aditya stood tall in a traditional gold sherwani. “This was the one event where we didn’t want contrast — we wanted everything to flow seamlessly and radiate regality,” they shared. The mandap, with its golden arches and crimson florals, reflected a royal warmth that enveloped the entire venue.

After Party
Closing on a high, the after party was a heady mix of music, glamour, and high-octane energy. As they danced amidst dry ice and cheers from the crowd, it felt like a perfect, glittering finale. “We just let go and enjoyed every second, it was surreal,” they said.

Advice For Couples
“Be present and don’t sweat the small stuff,” advises Pooja. “Cry if you need to, then move on and pick your floral arrangements, it’s all part of the story.” The couple encourages future brides and grooms to start planning early, cherish every moment (even the chaos), and embrace imperfections. “And most importantly,” Aditya adds, “hug your parents, thank them, and soak in all the love. It’s the most beautiful energy you’ll ever experience.”
