Priyanka and Arjun Mehra’s wedding unfolded as a celebration rooted in grandeur and imagination. Planned by the WeddingSutra Favourite – Koncepts Weddings & Events, the festivities reflected the couple’s shared love of opulence, spectacular moments, and immersive décor.
Wedding Planning
From the very start, Priyanka and Arjun were clear about the atmosphere they wanted to create. “The couple envisioned a décor that echoed ace designer Sabyasachi’s regal and opulent style, with rich textures, royal hues, and an old-world charm that felt nothing short of majestic,” shares Harrsh N Sukhani of Koncepts Weddings & Events. Grandeur was non-negotiable, whether through intricate detailing, lavish floral artistry, or statement-making spatial design.
The couple also dreamt of a show-stopping entry that would feel truly cinematic. “They wanted a royal procession that made them feel like timeless kings and queens stepping into their fairytale,” adds Harsh. For the sangeet, however, they sought a complete contrast. “They wanted the space to transform entirely, with an organic, refreshing setting that felt unique and immersive”, Harsh adds.

Sangeet
For the sangeet, the ballroom was reimagined as an ‘Enchanted Forest’, creating an otherworldly escape for guests. Towering faux trees rose dramatically across the space, layered with lush green canopies and cascading florals. Whimsical swings, forest-inspired props, and a nature-themed bar added playfulness, while soft golden lighting filtered through the foliage to create a warm, ethereal glow.
Wedding
Staying true to the couple’s Sabyasachi-inspired vision, the décor embraced a royal red palette layered with grandeur and drama. From the moment guests arrived, a majestic welcome set the mood. The celebration reached new heights with a spectacular drone show that narrated Priyanka and Arjun’s love story across the night sky. Spanning eight years of long-distance love, with him in Agra and her in Mumbai, the visual narrative captured their patience and devotion. As the varmala ceremony began, emotions ran high. The bride made a regal entrance, descending grand steps and their varmala exchange was marked by fireworks that lit up the sky. As the drone show illuminated the night once more, guests were left visibly moved.
