How They Met
Priyanka shares, “Love happens when you least expect it to happen. We met in an arranged marriage setup and the moment he smiled at me, I was in awe and just knew right then that we were meant to be. I actually agreed to marry him literally within 24 hours of having met him!”
Wedding Planning
Eager to make the wedding of their dreams come true, the couple chose Rajasthan as their destination to host a series of grand functions. To ensure that this special day of theirs was captured in memories for eternity, they roped in Seventy by Two. The happy bride shares, “When we started planning our wedding, booking Seventy by Two was one of our first decisions. Their team is absolutely fabulous and leaves no stone unturned to ensure that your cherished memories are preserved. They amazed us with their proactiveness, attentiveness, and creativity. The lipdub they orchestrated was a hit and enjoyed by each one of our guests. Our wedding album and videos tuned out extremely beautiful and never fail to cheer us up after a long day!”
Weddings Functions
Mehndi
Kickstarting their celebrations on a colorful and joyous note, the duo’s Mehndi reflected the surrounding rich Rajasthani culture. From a traditional folk singer belting out soulful tunes, to dancing their hearts out to the beats of the dhol under the vibrant canopy, the couple enjoyed this event to the fullest as they mingled with their loved ones.
Sangeet
The Sangeet celebration was a glamorous event adorned with a colossal stage and an LED backdrop. It commenced with a Sufi-style entry for the couple after which their loved ones took the stage by storm. To boost the energy further, the couple also roped in Meet Bros who with their catchy tunes made sure everyone was in high spirits till the wee hours of the morning!
Haldi
Boisterous and brimming with playful moments, the Haldi was traditionally decorated in hues of yellow and white. Slathered in turmeric, the bride and groom were all smiles as their loved ones hoisted them up and cracked jokes. Dressed in a stunning mustard yellow saree with rich zari embroidery, Priyanka looked dazzling while Prateek kept it simple in a white kurta set.
Wedding
Surrounded by the majestic architecture of Rajasthan, the couple’s wedding had a royal vibe. Bedecked with delicate white blooms that were suspended from the trees and furnished with a breathtaking circular red mandap held up with reflective pillars, Priyanka and Prateek’s big day was a luxurious affair. Sporting a traditional red lehenga with pops of pastel blue, seated atop a palki, the bride looked radiant as she entered amidst the reverberating sound of over 30 conches.
