In a matter of about three months, both of them were sure that they had found their soulmates in each other. Their wedding announcement was followed by the ‘roka’ on the next day, and soon, the wedding preparations commenced.

So they opted to host their celebrations at the Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel in Powai, Mumbai. Not only did the property help them achieve an outstation feel, but it also had several beautiful venues which were ideal for their functions.

Wedding Functions
Qawwali Night
A night of soulful music kicked off Priyanka and Suresh’s wedding celebrations. Guests were welcomed into a brightly decorated venue where blue and yellow were the key decor colors. To add an authentic traditional touch to the function, they even gave passas to their guests as favors. For this function, Priyanka chose a pink and golden lehenga by Disha Patil Couture which was paired with a heavily embellished fringed blouse.
Welcome Lunch
Next morning the two hosted their official welcome party with a floral-themed lunch. The function took place in an open setting where fresh flowers in pink and white added a romantic vibe to the environs. White planters with words painted on them, a bicycle smothered in blooms and other picturesque elements added to the charm of the decor. Staying true to the theme of the event, the bride and the groom incorporated floral designs into their clothing. Suresh wore a blue jacket from Just Men with floral motifs while Priyanka chose a peach gown by Red Heritage that featured similar patterns created using golden threads.
Sangeet
As the night made its way, the couple and their guests prepared themselves for a glamorous sangeet celebration. The evening was filled with performances by their family and friends. The dress code for this function was Indo-Western. Priyanka wore a stunning white gown by Dolly J. The groom, on the other hand, went with a deep green sherwani from Just Men.
European Lunch
The dress code was Western Formal for the European Lunch. Priyanka, once again, opted for a gown in white, only this time it was designed by Pink Peacock Couture. In contrast, Suresh wore a maroon jacket. This was one of their most happening functions as it included many engaging activities. Guests could choose to play at the casino table, listen to the violinist as she played beautiful tunes or interact with the genie emerging from the lamp!
Wedding
On the third night of the celebrations, Priyanka and Suresh exchanged their vows and began their journey as man and wife. Their stunning mandap was the highlight of the decor for this function. With pillars engulfed in red roses and lush greens and a roof that featured strings of red and white flowers, the canopy truly made a statement. The bride was resplendent in a red lehenga while the groom wore a beige Shantanu and Nikhil sherwani.
