Glamour and traditions fused seamlessly at Rajvi and Karan’s three-day wedding celebrations. At the helm of it all, ensuring that the couple’s vision came to life was WeddingSutra Favorite – Valiant Events.
Wedding Planning
Vatsal Marvania from Valiant Events gives us an overview of the union, “The wedding celebrations spanned three days surrounded by natural beauty in Gujarat. From the onset, the couple was keen on ensuring every guest felt involved and indulged. The venues surrounded by stunning vistas also doubled up as a mini vacation for the guests as they immersed themselves in serene surroundings. Overall, Rajvi and Karan were fantastic to work with as they were very clear on their priorities. Hospitality, simple yet vibrant designs and honoring their traditions were at the heart of everything.”
Wedding Functions
Mehendi
The wedding celebrations commenced with a mehndi where Rajvi along with her bridal squad had a gala time shaking a leg with their loved ones. Rajvi recollects, “The pastel color palette was very soothing, giving a blissful feel to the venue. Our families caught us off guard with their stunning performances. And, while some guests got their palms patterned with henna, others had fun playing various games.”
Mandap Vidhi
Second in line was the mandap vidhi, a ritual where a puja is conducted to bless the wedding mandap. Inspired by the surrounding greenery, the decor for this was kept simple with white and green hues. A breezy canopy sheltered the guests from the sun while urlis filled with fragrant tuberoses welcomed the guests as they entered the venue.
Haldi
Rajvi shares, “The haldi was really fun and we stayed true to traditions with yellow and white hues. However, origami elements gave it a modern feel. Karan and I made a dashing entry with our loved ones releasing balloons into the air the moment we entered.”
Sangeet
“This night was all about glitter and glamour! Being avid Bollywood fans, the venue buzzed with groovy Bollywood chart toppers. Frames, lights and an LED screen backdrop made the stage the highlight of the event while chandeliers lit up the venue. Safe to say, everyone was at their groovy best!”, recollects Rajvi.
Carnival
After the rigors of sangeet, the guests let their hair down at the Carnival. Bedecked with fun blue and yellow hues, the carnival was jam-packed with various artists, interactive stalls, games and gastronomic delights. For rejuvenation, guests could indulge in massages at the exclusive massage station where professional masseurs work their magic!
Wedding
Rajvi shares, “When it came to the big day, we decided to go for the timeless color palette of ivory and gold. While soothing to the eyes, this color palette also carried a dash of glam, which is exactly what we had envisioned. The planning team was incredible as it looked perfect. The wedding mandap with its suspended white blooms made jaws drop while the chrome aisle reflected the starlit sky.”
