Rhea Khanna and Dev Kohli’s union was a spectacular affair surrounded by natural beauty as they celebrated with their loved ones. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – The Vow Weavers, the couple was completely at ease as they tied the knot with a series of beautiful celebrations.
Wedding Planning
Rhea shares, “We’re both from Bombay but Dev always wanted the wedding to be held near Delhi. Right from day one of the planning processes, we’ve had a great time working with The Vow Weavers team. They are so hands-on, and organized, which made everything a lot easier. Each small or big requirement was addressed with a smile and that’s what we absolutely loved about them. They were by our side taking the lead on the planning right from negotiations with vendors to final day execution and dealing with our guests. They treated our wedding like their own and that personal touch made all the difference!”
Weddings Functions
Mehndi
Rhea shares, “Our first function was a mehendi sundowner at a farm. And, since it gets dark early during winter the focus of the entire decor was on lights and candles. Unlike a conventional mehendi, we chose navy blue and white as the colour scheme with a big focus on lights. The food during this function was the biggest highlight, we had a vast variety of Kashmiri cuisine, and Punjabi cuisine as well as Asian and Italian delicacies. Even weeks after our wedding, people are still raving about the food at this function. The Unplugged Project performed and we had a few family dances.”
Wedding
Rhea shares, “The following morning, we hosted our wedding on a vast lawn. A live band, Swaraag Fusion played enthralling tunes and we had such a serene wedding! The function ended an hour later than it should have because the guests couldn’t leave the dance floor. The decor followed a theme of pink hues, foliage with delicate rajnigandha and flowy drapes sheltering the guests. The planners added a special touch by gifting us a frame with our love story depicted on it during the wedding function.”
Sangeet
Rhea shares, “The sangeet was the grand finale and we wanted to be glam! Adorned in black and red hues, the event had us partying the night away; the function was on until the wee hours of the morning.”
Advice For Couples
The couple shares, “Don’t stress, in the end, it all works out! Remember to have fun at your own wedding and savour every moment.”
