Richa Bubna and Subham Dalmia, Mundota Fort and Palace, Rajasthan
Fusing modern design with Indian heritage, this destination wedding in Rajasthan struck a perfect balance between contemporary style and tradition.
Set against a canvas of regal venues and thoughtfully layered celebrations, Richa Bubna and Subham Dalmia’s wedding unfolded as an elegant reflection of timeless taste. Planned by WedddingSutra Favorite – The Shaadinamaa, the wedding was a seamless balance of classic Indian aesthetics and modern sensibilities, where every event carried its own mood while remaining beautifully cohesive.

How They Met
Subham and Richa’s story began with an arranged introduction, as two strangers met at just the right moment. They spoke, connected, and then quietly drifted apart. Nearly a year later, fate intervened once again, guiding them back to each other. And, this time, clarity replaced hesitation.

Wedding Planning
For Richa, working with The Shaadinamaa was an experience that went far beyond logistics. “Our experience with Shaadinamaa was nothing short of magical,” she shares. “From the exact shade of flowers to the fabrics and décor accents, everything was brought to life just as we had imagined.” The team didn’t merely plan the wedding; they immersed themselves in the couple’s vision, values, and priorities. “They didn’t just organise our wedding; they became a part of it, understanding us, our vision, and what mattered most,” adds the bride.

Wedding Functions
Welcome Lunch
The celebrations commenced with a warm and gracious welcome lunch where royal accents met modern pastel tones. Elegant floral arrangements, refined table settings, and soft hues created an inviting atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the days to follow.

Sufi Night
Hosted at the fort, the Sufi night brought with it a surge of energy and drama. Live bolly-Sufi music, flowing cocktails, and spirited dancing transformed the evening into a high-octane celebration. Fire ‘mashaals’ and atmospheric lighting elevated the experience, lending the night a distinctly royal party vibe.

Mayra
Bursting with colour and tradition, the Mayra ceremony embraced vibrancy in its truest form. Traditional elements, lively décor, and joyful hues came together to create a celebration rooted in heritage!

Sangeet
The sangeet unfolded as an elegant, enchanted forest, reimagined through a calming palette of greens and whites. Classy yet atmospheric, the décor featured layered foliage, soft lighting, and refined detailing, offering a serene backdrop for performances, heartfelt moments, and an evening of graceful revelry.

Haldi
Playful and spirited, the haldi celebration drew inspiration from ‘Marco Polo’ themes, complete with orange accents, horse motifs, and a carnival-like energy. The décor leaned into whimsy without losing polish, creating a setting that felt light-hearted, joyous, and full of character.

Wedding
The wedding ceremony embraced a royal and timeless aesthetic, inspired by a ‘Sabyasachi’ theme. Rich textures, traditional elements, and an air of old-world grandeur defined the setting, warming the chilly November air and allowing the couple’s pheras to unfold against a backdrop that felt enduring and elegant.

Advice For Couples
The bride shares, “Plan your wedding with your personalities at the heart of every decision. Trends may fade, but memories last forever. And above all, choose the right planner, because they truly become the heart and soul of your wedding.”
