Rishabh Shankar and Chitra Pandit, ITC Maratha Mumbai
This couple’s wedding was rooted in tradition and showcased their love for classic Indian elements.
Rishabh Shankar, an accomplished percussionist and the son of Shri Jeetu and Santosh Shankar, tied the knot with Chitra Pandit, who hails from a prestigious musical background. Entrusted to WeddingSutra Favorite – Janvi Dave – Weddings and Events, this was the second Shankar family wedding planned by the team, making it feel less like a client project and more like a celebration for one of their own!

Wedding Planning
Rishabh and Chitra’s wedding was a lyrical blend of tradition, elegance, and cultural legacy. Every detail, carefully envisioned and flawlessly executed by Janvi Dave – Weddings and Events, echoed the couple’s deep musical roots and refined sensibilities. From their very first conversation, Rishabh’s vision was crystal clear: a tasteful, elegant wedding that celebrated not only their love but also the artistry and heritage that shaped them. “We wanted to create an atmosphere where every guest felt the warmth of family while being immersed in the couple’s world of music and elegance,” shares Janvi Dave. This thoughtful approach began with a bespoke Save the Date, designed to reflect Rishabh’s artistic identity, and extended to each element of décor, choreography, and guest experience. The celebration was as star-studded as it was soulful, with eminent personalities like comedian Raju Shrivastav, singer Asees Kaur, singer Talat Aziz, and vocalist Divya Kumar in attendance.
