Wedding Venue
For their dream destination wedding in the Pink City, the couple chose the luxurious property of Taj Amer Jaipur, nestled amidst the breathtaking Aravalli ranges and near the iconic Amer Fort. Regal, artistic, and immersive, the property offered Taj’s signature hospitality and timeless grandeur along with a plethora of striking event venues for all their festivities.

Wedding Planning
With distinct ideas about what they wanted, the couple turned to Team 7X-Weddings to plan and orchestrate their wedding revelries. They share Rajat Sogani and Devang Shah and their team have done a fabulous job in coordinating, executing, and managing every task. They executed everything so smoothly that our guests still talk about how seamless our wedding was.”
They entrusted the team of CineLove Productions to capture their special moments.

Wedding Functions
Welcome dinner
Ritika and Sashank started the celebrations by hosting a grand welcome dinner for all their friends and family to connect and mingle with everyone. The boho-glam evening was enrobed in a rich purple tone with plush sofas, flickering candles, dried palms and flowers, and a whimsical undulating canopy of purple drapes and fairy lights.

Carnival
The next morning commenced with the fun and frolic of Carnival Ritika shares, “Since we met in London, the entire carnival was designed to showcase our love affair in London. Called ‘Garden of Love’, it was designed keeping the British theme in mind, including the vases, frames, coffee table books, etc.”

She adds, “Everything in the carnival was about love. From the things we love to what love means to us. From having hearts on my dress to wearing a ‘love’ accessory on my hair, keeping a stall for Sashank’s favourite popcorn, showcasing my love for makeup through a ‘Make your own lipstick bar’, and offering a spread of our favourite cuisines, we had it all. A quintessential London booth was set up where guests could record audio and video messages for us. We also gave crochet heart key chains as giveaways to the guests at the carnival.

Sangeet
“I am the biggest Bollywood fan there ever can be and my Sangeet was designed accordingly! To create an authentic Bollywood experience, each guest was given personalized cinema tickets beforehand. Our entry was done in an ‘Om Shanti Om’ Red carpet Way. From our song selection to the overall flow of the event, every detail was meticulously crafted to resemble a scene from a Bollywood blockbuster.”

The Sangeet was divided into 5 segments, with a video played before each one. One of the segments featured an engaging session with Anchor JK called ‘Jalebi with JK’, inspired by the format of ‘Koffee with Karan.

Wedding
Framed by the palatial beauty of Taj Amer, every moment of the wedding exuded grandeur, from the baraat to the varmala, mandap, and regal decor. Ritika recounts “I had envisioned a royal celebration for our wedding, where I would channel the grace and majesty of a queen. It was this aspiration that led me to choose Sabyasachi for my attire and Jaipur as our destination. As I walked down the stairs at Gulmohar, I felt empowered, as though I held the world in my hands. Looking at Sashank and seeing him smile was a surreal feeling. The memory of that moment still fills me with awe, as others reminisce about how they were moved to goosebumps, comparing me to a goddess, a queen, or even drawing comparisons to the legendary Padmavati from Deepika’s iconic portrayal. It was an experience like no other”.
