Wedding Planning
Hosting their celebrations in Jaipur, the couple turned to Team Bhagwati Weddings to orchestrate mesmerising decor concepts for each function. Imagined with distinct themes, every occasion saw exquisite attention to detail and larger-than-life elements for a truly unforgettable celebration.

The groom shares, “Being a diamond jeweller herself, every piece of jewellery that Rupal and I wore was something specially designed and meticulously crafted, from her dazzling diamond and designer enamel diamond jewellery from Dx by Sancheti Gems to the Versace Medusa rose gold and diamond chain and bracelet I wore to match my blue shoes, watch, scarf, and blue belt by Versace. A big shout out to Rambhajos for adorning Rupal with the most exquisite bridal polki necklace and making her feel like an absolute queen.”

He adds, “Since the wedding was in a resort set up, I had my hot red convertible Audi with a “Vroom for the Groom” board, go around the resort and pick Rupal up from her suite to head to the different functions”.

Talking about their experience with Bhagwati Weddings, the couple shares, “When we met Banshi ji and Deepika ji from Bhagwati Weddings, we felt an instant connection. Their 35+ years of experience gave us a real sense of confidence in their team. It was amazing to have wedding veterans like Team Bhagwati and Laadi bhaiya collaborating on all our function entrances. They ensured our vision was flawlessly executed.”

Haldi
Stepping into the Haldi function, guests were immediately immersed in a world inspired by the venue’s Japanese aesthetic, illuminated with a warm glow that emanated from a multitude of lamps. Adorned with a cascade of red and white florals, echoing the colours of the rising sun, the gate offered a vibrant welcome, while traditional Japanese prints, featuring delicate geisha and koi fish, adorned the walls.

Traditional Japanese fans, adorned with intricate patterns, were scattered throughout the space, not only serving as beautiful decorative elements but also as interactive props for the guests to cool themselves amidst the joyous celebration. The stage blossomed with the vibrancy of spring, as Cherry blossom trees, meticulously crafted with branches, created a breathtaking backdrop. The delicious fusion cuisine that was curated, combined traditional favourites with Japanese delights like sushi and sajan goth.

Carnival
Transforming the bride’s childhood dream into reality, the Carnival was a fully immersive celebration inspired by the world of Barbie. Divided into Team Pink and Team Blue, the guests were transported to a playful dreamscape complete with a life-size Barbie’s dream house, a vibrant dance floor, a replica of her whimsical wardrobe, a monochromatic lounge inspired by Ken, life-size dolls, iconic vehicles, and more. From Custom signage and furniture to themed linens and tableware, every detail added to the Barbie aesthetic.

The space featured different aspects of Barbie’s Universe, such as her house, Malibu Beach Bar, Fashion Avenue, etc, making for an immersive and interactive experience their guests would cherish and remember. The bride rode in a custom-built chariot pulled by a groom-approved sports bike – a perfect blend of Barbie fantasy and the groom’s love for speed. The attention to detail was phenomenal.

Sangeet
The Sangeet welcomed guests to a winter wonderland, a magical landscape shimmering with silver, ivory, and blue accents, complete with cascading snow. Carefully curated centerpieces, featuring flickering candles nestled amongst miniature snow-covered landscapes, added a touch of warmth and whimsy. The three-tier stage was no less grand than an awards function, with the top tier featuring LED mapping to create a dynamic backdrop for dancers and artists, the middle tier serving as the main performance platform, and the bottom level as a spacious dance floor.

A grand entrance unfolded for the couple, further amplifying the night’s extravagance. The theme for the evening was “Kabhi Rocky Kabhi Rani,” a playful nod to two iconic Karan Johar films. The couple even created an entire movie showcasing their love story.

Since the couple could not get their dream wedding in Switzerland due to logistical constraints, the winter wonderland theme was an inspired endeavour to recreate the same magic in Jaipur.

Wedding
Rupal and Abhishek’s regal yet contemporary wedding unfolded with pomp and splendour. Ditching the traditional horses, they opted for a ‘Baraat on wheels’, adding a modern twist to this cherished tradition.

Life-size floral peacocks, a symbol of royalty and beauty, adorned the venue, adding a touch of elegance and whimsy. The highlight of the occasion however was the stage. A masterpiece hand-painted by talented artists over a month, it served as a dramatic backdrop as Rupal descended from a hidden staircase. Craving an entrance as grand as the bride’s, Abhishek arrived in true Maharaja style, leaving everyone awestruck. Imagine a scene straight out of a royal procession! The couple exchanged varmalas to tumultuous applause.

The lounges transitioned seamlessly into a contemporary haven with flowing drapes that adorned the space, complemented by the brilliance of large chandeliers. Cushions and table cards featured the couple’s unique logo, while Intricate details continued to grace the tables. The mandap maintained the regal theme, its beauty echoing the magnificence of the entire celebration.
