Wedding Planning
With the couple being entrepreneurs, creativity flowed freely at this wedding. However, the couple also wanted to honor their roots and stay in tandem with their natural surroundings. Nikhil Jetha from Events & Wedding Experiences shares, “The brief was to keep things sophisticated and minimalistic, as minimalistic Indian weddings can be! The couple loved the natural vistas of the Nandi Hills and wanted its beauty to seep into every event. On the hospitality front, guest indulgence was paramount. The duo hosted a relaxed wedding where nothing was rushed and all the attendees got plenty of time to rejuvenate before every event.”
On the photography front, Magic Motion Media took the lead as they photographed the couple sharing joyful as well as emotional moments. From heartfelt candid shots to stylised portrait photographs, each image conveyed a plethora of emotions.
Wedding Functions
Bridgerton Tea Party
Sporting a pastel palette, detailed decor and flamboyant florals – this tea party was inspired by the immensely popular Bridgerton series on Netflix. A beautiful English Garden was created within the venue and the guests had a gala time sipping on a variety of teas. The live mug engraving counter ensured everyone went back with plenty of souvenirs.
Sangeet
Themed as ‘celestial sangeet’, this event amplified the glamour quotient and made everyone feel like celebrities. Nikhil shares, “We had a red carpet concept with paparazzi clicking pictures of guests as they walked in. An extravagant stage with LED decor, chrome decor elements and flashing spotlights kept everyone dancing till midnight!”
Wedding
The wedding began with an energetic baraat where the groom accompanied by his squad made his way to the venue in a convertible car. Traditional parasols and a band accompanied his entourage that shook a leg throughout their journey. Once the welcoming rituals were done, the couple then proceeded to the varmala ceremony named ‘Vasudeva Kutumbakam’, which translates into ‘The World is One Family’. Nikhil shares, “We used the architectural beauty of the venue to the fullest to create a dreamy red and gold-hued set-up. The captivating chants of the Ganga Aarti and luminous candles paved the way for a picture-perfect varmala ceremony that one usually sees in movies.” After the varmala, it was time for a traditional wedding ceremony adored with white blooms. A live painter while Nadaswaram and Chendamelam added their tunes to the moment.
