Wedding Planning
For their wedding, the UK-based Couple wanted to experience Dubai in all its glory and entrusted the team of Ikigaii Planners to bring their vision to life. From their venue choice of Taj Exotica Resort & Spa in The Palm Dubai to their decor concepts, entertainment, and outfits, every detail was curated with local flavors, luxe experiences, and unforgettable moments. The bride had a crystal clear idea of everything she wanted, and oversaw the design, planning, and execution of every last detail, from invitation cards, decor, and menu to all their outfits.
Wedding Functions
Haldi and Maiyaan
Brimming with Middle-Eastern flair, the Haldi and Maiyaan festivities saw a mix of vibrant traditions, professional performances, and exuberant moments of celebration. The decor was filled with Arabic elements such as plush rugs, ornate lamps, rich prints and textures, and more. Flaunting a quirky saree and a flower crown, the bride stole the show as she entered dancing on a rickshaw that the groom rode!
Sangeet
The evening took a whimsical turn with a ‘Mad Hatter’ – inspired Jaggo and Sangeet party. Exotic blooms, bright mushrooms, 3D flower lamps, and hanging cards featuring pictures of the bride and groom lent a magical touch to the occasion. Music and dance took over the night as the couple and their loved ones grooved the night away!
Anand Karaj
The next morning began with a tranquil Anand Karaj ceremony at the Gurudwara. Dressed in stunning ensembles of green, the couple pledged their love in the presence of their loved ones and god. The nuptials were followed by a Langar-style lunch at their hotel.
Reception
The reception soiree came alive with the high-octane revelries and eclectic energy of a glowing neon jungle. Quirky animal illustrations, vibrant floral arrangements, bold prints, and a canopy of foliage and disco balls set an avant-garde vibe for the evening, while guests were given perfumes as favors, custom curated by the couple with aromas they love. Spirited celebrations continued with dancing, champagne toasts, and more.
