Wedding Functions
Sangeet
Originally planned as a sundowner Mehndi, the festivities saw vibrant décor and cheerful merriment. It however, turned into a surprise Sangeet, with numerous dance performances planned and coordinated secretly by the bride’s brother. Sakshi shares, “All the dances were a surprise, with our friends, cousins, me and Jimit planning dances, all without anyone else knowing, which turned into a superlatively fun evening for everyone.” Jimit wore a soft teal kurta set for the evening while Sakshi wore a lemon lehenga. The guests were gifted with takeaways designed and created by Sakshi herself.
Haldi
The haldi festivities were a whirlwind of joy and color. The bride and groom looked radiant in hues of yellow as their loved ones smeared them with turmeric paste.
Wedding and Reception
Hosted against the beautiful cascading waterfall façade of Grand Hyatt Mumbai, the wedding saw quaint, floral décor in soft pink tones. The bride’s summery pink floral lehenga by Sabyasachi Mukherjee looked divine in the sunkissed festivities, while the groom complemented her with matching hues in an ensemble designed by the bride’s own label. The nuptials were followed by a grand reception dinner held indoors.
