Sakshi Maheshwari and Tushar Mundra’s wedding unfolded as a beautifully layered celebration, one that balanced contemporary flair with time-honoured traditions. Planned and designed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Spring Diaries Weddings & Entertainment, the festivities were envisioned as an immersive journey. With thoughtful detailing, an intuitive flow, and a strong aesthetic lens, the planners curated a celebration that felt both elevated and warm.
Wedding Planning
From the outset, Spring Diaries Weddings & Entertainment focused on translating the couple’s sensibilities into a cohesive design language that evolved gracefully across events. Reflecting on the approach, Vineet Nalwaya of Spring Diaries Weddings & Entertainments shares, “We intended to design each function as its own chapter, with a clear mood and palette, while ensuring the overall journey felt harmonious. Sakshi and Tushar were clear about wanting elegance with character, and we built every detail around that vision.”
Wedding Functions
Haldi
The haldi was imagined as a sunlit, high-spirited affair with a distinctly Moroccan influence. Layers of pink and rust set the tone, complemented by textured elements that added depth and warmth to the daytime celebration. Patterned backdrops, artisanal accents, and a carpeted seating arrangement created a relaxed yet visually rich setting. Marigolds and fresh blooms were used liberally, lending the space a celebratory vibrancy.
Sangeet
In striking contrast, the sangeet embraced drama and glamour. A palette of gold and metallic accents dominated the evening, setting the stage for a night of performances and high-energy celebrations. The décor leaned into a bling aesthetic which was unapologetically festive. Statement lighting, reflective surfaces, and a dynamic stage design came together to create a concert-like ambience, ensuring the couple’s grand entry and performances felt nothing short of spectacular.
Wedding
For the wedding ceremony and pheras, the design shifted to a traditional and regal sensibility. Soft pink florals cascaded from above, framing the mandap with an old-world charm that felt timeless and ceremonial. Crystal chandeliers added a touch of opulence, while warm lighting and classic seating completed the royal tableau.
