Wedding Functions
Mehendi
Savleen’s mehendi ceremony was hosted on the terrace of Fairmont Jaipur under the clear sky. The decor was done in the warm shades of yellow, orange, pink, and red, and included gorgeous drapes adorning the venue. The drapes were embellished with fresh blooms and hanging frames in the same hues. The bride wore a pastel green and pink floral lehenga by Anushree Reddy which featured intricate golden thread embroidery. She wore her hair in a side braid and flaunted pretty pink and white floral jewellery created by Floral Art by Shrishti.
Groom Harman looked dapper in a floral bandhgala and red turban that matched the flowery motifs on his attire. The ceremony was a vibrant affair marked by lots of music, dance, and merrymaking with the couple entering the venue dancing to the beats of traditional drums, and guests drinking cocktails created with the couple’s favorite ingredients.
Sangeet
Savleen and Harman’s sangeet also included an engagement ceremony. A stage decorated with rich purple and gold colors and accents awaited the couple. The soiree began with Harman entering on an elephant with his baraat. Savleen too walked in under a floral canopy held aloft by her brothers. The evening included choreographed performances by friends and family. The party concluded with an engagement ceremony where the rings were placed on a pretty cake. Savleen sported a heavily embellished Frontier Raas white lehenga for the party which she paired with royal polki jewellery. Harman wore a black velvet bandhgala with brocade pants and a turban.
Anand Karaj
The Sikh wedding ceremony called Anand Karaj was held at the Jaipur Gurudwara and it began with the couple taking their pheras. It was a simple and pious ceremony that saw Harman and Savleen seeking blessings from the Almighty. Savleen looked ethereal in a maroon and gold Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble, and Harman also picked a sherwani by the same leading designer which he paired with a maroon velvet shawl.
Brunch
The Anand Karaj ceremony was followed by a poolside champagne brunch at Fairmont Jaipur. This relaxed affair saw guests letting their hair down and having a fun time playing games. The decor was subtle and minimal and included a picturesque white canopy. Savleen looked radiant in a muted golden Sabyasachi Mukherjee ensemble. Her red bridal bangles offered a striking contrast to her outfit, and complemented her floral dupatta.
Reception
The reception was a magnificent soiree with decor designed to suit the ‘Royal’ theme of the function. Glass, golden embellishments, and dark elements made the venue look dramatic and beautiful. The couple entered the party under a shower of stunning fireworks and sparklers held by their friends. Savleen looked breathtaking in her Sulakshana Monga gown while Harman donned a Hugo Boss tuxedo. The night concluded with a rousing performance by singer Jaz Dhami who impressed the gathering.
