How they met
Sayali and Vasu’s love story kicked off on an exciting road trip with their friends. She shares, “Picture this, he had just bought a flashy new car, and the thrill of hitting the road was contagious. In a twist of fate, I ended up in the passenger seat of his vehicle, clueless about the adventure that awaited us. Little did we know that drive would be the spark that ignited something so beautiful.
Amidst the endless conversations, incredible views, and countless photographs, a unique connection formed between us. One road trip turned into endless traveling, and from Napa to New York to Alaska to Mexico, and more, we explored all that we could. We discovered a mutual love for trying new food spots, especially chaat and cocktails. We went on a fitness and endurance journey of a few months, getting ready for an 8844 ft high and 16-mile long hike to the half dome. These experiences brought us closer, and we became best friends.
As the calendar flipped to 2023, we found ourselves at a crossroad. Fueled by the connection between us, we decided to take a step further. With nervous excitement, we approached our parents, seeking their blessings. Their joyous approval became the green light for our happily ever after.”

Wedding Functions
Haldi
After a warm, traditional welcome, the festivities unfolded with a lively Haldi ceremony. Plush setups of marigolds and an abundance of color took over the verdant lawns, while activities like life-size board games, face painting, live sketching, and more delighted the guests. Dressed in vibrant ensembles, the bride and groom made a charming entrance as their loved ones cheered, and reveled in moments of love and laughter as the ceremony began.
Sangeet
Imagined with the classic cocktail decor of black and gold, the Sangeet night showcased heartwarming dance performances and charming moments of family love and enjoyment in a memorable celebration under the stars. Dressed in a wine-toned lehenga-gown and a sparkling tuxedo respectively, the bride and groom cut a stylish figure as they dazzled with their dance moves.
Marathi Wedding
The first of their two wedding ceremonies, the Marathi nuptials unfolded with a rousing baraat and a traditional Mangalashtak replete with Maharashtrian outfits and cuisine for the guests. The striking floral setup painted a breathtaking picture in hues of pink against the rugged backdrop of the surrounding mountains. The bride and groom dressed in tones of pink to match the mood, and joyfully exchanged varmalas and vows in front of their loved ones.
Marwari Wedding
The occasion was followed by a Marwari-style phera ceremony in the evening that concluded with a seated dinner and warm toasts by the best man and other family members. The bride and groom adorned exquisite ensembles of ivory and peach and looked like the picture of happiness as they tied the knot.
