How they met
It all began in 2019 when Shealy and Keshav first met during their CA Finals orientation course in Bangalore. Shealy shares, “Keshav was a mutual friend, and we would often hang out together with the rest of our group during lunch breaks and classes. We lost touch after the course ended, but as fate would have it, we reconnected in 2022 through a work assignment, and soon I joined his company. So when a year later, both of our families started nudging us to find suitable partners, Keshav’s brother and co-founder, Mahendra, played cupid and suggested to our families that we would make a great match. Little did we know, our families had already met and were secretly hoping that we would get along! Before long, we got engaged and started our exciting journey of wedding planning.”

The Proposal
“We had a Leadership Meet at The Serai in Coorg, and surrounded by beautiful coffee estates and our closest colleagues who felt more like family, I thought it was the perfect time to propose to Keshav. I secretly scouted a hidden spot within the estate and made arrangements for a photographer from Bangalore to capture the moment. I spent days rehearsing my speech, ensuring everything would be perfect, and even asked Keshav’s mother for her blessing before going ahead with the proposal.

When the day arrived, I was nervous but excited. I led Keshav to the spot, ready to pour my heart out. But to my absolute surprise, when I started the proposal, Keshav began smiling like he knew something I didn’t. That’s when I learned that he had planned the exact same thing! Keshav had also chosen the same spot and had made all the arrangements for a proposal of his own. He had even taken permission from my parents and created a beautiful video with their blessings.

As we stood there, both of us completely taken aback by how perfectly everything had aligned, we realized just how in sync we were. Our friends and colleagues, who had unknowingly become part of this magical moment, watched on as we proposed to each other. As we conveyed our love with full hearts and prepared speeches, we knew that this was just the beginning of our forever.”

Wedding Venue
The wedding took place at the stunning Hyatt Regency Jaipur Mansarovar, a property that blends the grandeur of Jaipur-style palaces with modern luxury. The venue offered them a variety of spaces for their events, including three closed wedding ballrooms, three sprawling lawns, and several beautiful terraces and restaurants. With close to 250 rooms, the couple had booked around 220 rooms for their guests.

Shealy shares, “The hotel staff, especially the manager in charge of our wedding, were incredibly helpful throughout the planning and execution. We were especially impressed with the head chef, a Rajasthani himself, who ensured the food was as authentic as it gets. Since Keshav’s family hails from Rajasthan, this personal touch made the experience even more special. The chef and his team also accommodated our specific dietary needs, fulfilling our requests for food without onion or garlic with ease. Given that we are vegetarians, the hotel set up a separate kitchen just for us, ensuring that all our meals were prepared separately and with great care. On the wedding day, we had a traditional *Sajjan Goth* ceremony, where a sit-down lunch was beautifully managed by the hotel staff, adding a perfect cultural touch to our special day.”

Wedding Planning

Wedding Functions
Haldi
The joyous celebration of Haldi was organized in the courtyard with a simple yet stunning backdrop of green and yellow. Dressed in outfits of yellow hues, the couple smiled radiantly as their loved ones gathered around them to smear them with turmeric and shower them with blessings.

Carnival
The morning continued with a vibrant Carnival soiree, a celebration filled with moments of love and family fun. The decor of white and blue combined traditional Rajasthani pottery designs with quirky props, flowers, and more, to set a lively ambiance for a day of Carnival games, music, and enjoyment. The couple embodied the spirit of the occasion in colorful ensembles.

Sangeet
Brimming with enchanting floral setups, chic designs, and endless entertainment, the Sangeet was glamor galore! After a traditional Tilak and Ring Ceremony, the evening kicked into high gear with riveting performances, exciting games, and a lot more. The couple and their loved ones had a gala time and danced into the night.

Wedding
Framed by the beauty of the hotel’s palatial facade, the poolside wedding unfolded with unmatched panache. Shealy, dressed in quintessential bridal red, looked undeniably royal as she, along with her stately groom and family members, commemorated the occasion with opulent pics in and around the property.

As their loved ones showered them with rose petals from above, the couple exchanged garlands before their phera ceremony. Orchestrated with gilded pillars and a plush floral dome, the mandap looked nothing short of extraordinary, making their nuptials even more memorable.

Reception
The festivities came to a grand close with a magnificent Reception evening. Dressed in a classic yet decadent combination of gold and black, the newlyweds exuded grandeur as they arrived, cutting the stunning tiered cake amidst fireworks, cheers, and great applause. Their friends and family spent the night congratulating them and showering them with love.
