Wedding Planning
Choosing the stunning palatial venue of Nahargarh Ranthambhore as their backdrop, the couple turned to One Point Weddings to plan the celebration, while Team Decor by Komal designed and executed every detail of the decor. The couple shares, “We wanted to work with a designer who would put their heart and soul into our wedding, someone who understood our love for personalized things and would help transform our vision to reality. Unlike most couples, we didn’t have a fixed theme in our minds when we started. We wanted to gradually share ideas and work together in making our wedding decor beautiful. One Point Weddings and Decor by Komal worked beautifully in tandem to bring our vision to life!”
Wedding Functions
Bhaat
The festivities kicked off with a traditional Bhaat ceremony. The relaxed family function was imagined with the refreshing, breezy decor of white and blue, furnished with printed linen, gorgeous pottery, and pink bougainvillea. The ceiling canopy was beautifully crafted with strings of blue adornments.
Sangeet
Inspired by the bride’s love of fairy lights, the Sangeet function was the ultimate starry night celebration. Right from the tunnel of lights at the entrance to the expanse of fairy lights that spread across the entire celebration, the decor was as magical as possible. Acrylic chairs, fresh flowers, and ornate lamps added to the ambiance, while photos of the couple were incorporated everywhere as a reminder of their journey of love.
After Party
The festivities continued with a casual and relaxing after-party. With the decor of neon accessories and neon shoes, the night carried a groovy vibe as everyone danced into the wee hour of the morning.
Haldi
The next morning began with a lively Haldi celebration. The gota-patti theme added a unique touch to the traditional floral decor of yellow and orange marigolds. Block-printed cushions, gota-patti hangings, traditional Nepali Khada to welcome guests, and the couple’s childhood pictures hung beautifully around the venue added a lovely personal touch to the occasion.
Wedding
Framed by the glowing inner facade of Nahargarh Palace, the wedding, with its regal theme of gold and white, was nothing short of a dream! The glittering mandap, hung with a canopy of gold kaleerein and white flowers, stood amid the borewell structure, surrounded by beautiful steps that were decorated with lamps and ornate props. Hundreds of diyas enveloped the evening with their warmth, making the occasion truly magical.
