Wedding Functions
Sangeet
The celebrations started with an energy filled sangeet night held at the front ground of the Palace. The groom made a stunning entry into the venue, on a motorcycle with fireworks attached to it. The open-air ground was decorated with tiffany chairs dotted around aesthetically pleasing floral round tables. The dazzling sangeet stage had a number of live performances from dancers, dhol walla’s along with the couple’s family and friends.
The bride looked stunning in a heavily embroidered full sleeve lehenga-choli in the shade of berry red. The groom picked a dark grey sherwani accompanied by an embroidered light grey coat on top. The couple sportingly donned LED shoes for the event to dance.
Haldi
The Haldi ceremony had a traditional feel to it with vibrant marigold floral decor in vibrant shades of yellow and orange. The bride dressed in a sun kissed yellow lehenga-choli along with a sea green tulle dupatta. The floral bangles, earrings, rings, necklace, maang tikka and nathni enhanced her look. The groom chose a yellow embroidered kurta along with a bright jacket and delicate beaded neck chain to compliment his bride. All the guests followed the yellow color dress-code as well.
Wedding
The auspicious wedding ceremony had a Royal theme. The mandap was set up at the balcony of the palace against the serene backdrop of the mesmerizing city. The couple exchanged varmalas below the elegantly decorated floral dome.
The bride donned a traditional red lehenga-choli embellished with gold zari work. She paired her outfit with a set of perfect gold jewelry including a heavy neckpiece, matha patti, earrings and bangles. The groom paired his authentic red sherwani with a golden dupatta and beaded tricolor jewelry. Along with his sword and golden Safa, Ritesh defined royalty on his special day.
Reception
The gorgeous newlywed bride entered the venue wearing a traditional red saree with gold zari work. An elegant gold and emerald green neckpiece with a slit back floral hair bun enhanced her regal look. She walked in under a phoolon ki chaadar along with her Father-in-law alongside her. The groom donned a black Mughal design kurta with delicate golden embroidery imprinted on it. The newlyweds made a grand entry as they stood on the balcony of the palace under the spotlight, to greet their guests.
Advice For Couples
The bride advises, “Don’t lose the essence of your perfect day by stressing out while trying to make it perfect, or social media worthy. What really makes your wedding memorable is you both being happy and involved in it. A ‘Happy face’ is the evergreen makeup that you can put on for your day!”
