How They Met
Shweta and Romil first crossed paths in their society gym. New to the building and mingling to make new friends, Romil was instantly intrigued by Shweta, and as they interacted more at a friend’s birthday bash, their connection deepened. Casual conversations soon turned into movies, momos, and long drives, before long they knew they were in love. The was no looking back!
Wedding Planning
The couple chose the stunning waterfront property of The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake for their festivities and brought on board a talented team of vendors to orchestrate their dream wedding. The team of Knotty Affair by Namit and Vipul were entrusted with the task of capturing their special moments, which they performed to perfection. Seamlessly blending into their celebrations, they froze every candid moment and raw emotion in flawless frames for the couple to cherish for a lifetime.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
Inspired by the couple’s dream of visiting Greece, the vibrant Haldi recreated the white and blue palette of Santorini with beautiful prints and decor elements. Tons of flowers added a doze of freshness to the indoor function. The couple swapped traditional yellow attire for peppy pink ensembles for the occasion. The ceremony was brimming with love and laughter as their friends and family gathered around the couple to douse them with haldi and flowers.
Evening Function
In place of a traditional Sangeet, the couple amped up their evening festivities with the sophisticated decadence of Paris. Imagined with sparkles, a rousing band, a showstopping entry, and dazzling decor, the night was one for the ages. Dressed in edgy festive couture, the couple danced the night away with their loved ones.
Wedding
A sublime blend of grandeur and tranquil elegance, the regal wedding ceremony was a sight to behold. Rich arrangements of blooms, antique lamps, ornate Indian elements, and more came together to set a royal tone for the decor. The groom looked like a modern Maharaja in his exquisite ivory sherwani while the bride left everyone awestruck with her Mughal grace as they tied the knot in a beautiful floral mandap.
