Silky Kothari and Jinesh Parmar, Radisson Blu Resort Temple Bay Mamallapuram
Indian temple design pillars, brass bells and fragrant white blooms- this couple’s wedding mandap was a vintage wonder!
A heady mix of contemporary and traditional elements, Silky Kothari and Jinesh Parmar’s beachside wedding celebration was a vivid one. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – 3X Events, each event was carefully curated and featured a stunning color palette that enchanted the eyes.
How They Met
Silky recollects, “Jinesh and I first met via an arranged marriage set-up and the conversation flowed so smoothly. We conversed for hours and at the end of it, we were sure that we are meant to be!”
Wedding Planning
Leading at the front was 3X Events who with their expertise planned the wedding. Impressed by the planning team, Silky shares, “At the end of it, the 3X Events team was like family to us. They were thorough when it came to details and came up with such amazing ideas! We had so many extensive discussions and through it all, the team was high on energy. Every single thing was well planned and as to-be-weds, we could easily kick back and relax as the festivities commenced!”
Wedding Functions
Picnic
The festivities took off with a sun kissed whimsical picnic where both the families mingled freely with each other. Pink and blue hues created a magical ambience while larger-than-life games of ludo and chess kept the guests engaged. Later, everyone lounged under colorful tepees as they sipped on refreshing drinks.
Sangeet
Swathed with sequins, flashing lights and equipped with a colossal stage, the sangeet was all things glamour. Suspended foliage interspersed with vintage chandeliers adorned the stage. Meanwhile, the rest of the venue was lit up with fairy lights that cast a golden glow over the pastel floral setups.
Haldi
Adorned with monochrome elements that were contrasted by dashes of yellow and pink, the haldi was a vibrant celebration. As everyone slathered the couple with turmeric, the guests had a gala time shaking a leg and teasing the to-be-weds!
Wedding
For the wedding day, the couple opted for a traditional decor theme. A mandap decorated with fragrant jasmine enchanted the senses while brass bells cut a stunning contrast with the white blooms. The pillars of the mandap were also inspired by traditional Indian temple architecture and featured intricate carvings which exuded a vintage vibe.
Advice For Couples
Silky shares, “Trust your wedding planner. Make sure you respond on time. Build a rapport with them and be present at every meeting.
