Wedding Planning
To plan their wedding, the couple chose The Vow Weavers who in their quest for perfection left nothing to chance. Bride Srishti shares, “From the very first day, The Vow Weavers were there with us every step of the way. Their work ethic was on point throughout the celebrations. The entire team is extremely approachable and that’s exactly what one needs from their wedding planners. Since all the venues were different, the guest logistics had to be airtight. I’d highly recommend them to everyone who’s planning their wedding. We wanted all events to look different and hence for mehendi we went with giant flowers, for haldi traditional marigold, the wedding was more of a walk in the garden with whites and greens to make it too look dreamy and sangeet night had deep hues of red with vintage touch. ”

Capturing the couple as they shared candid moments of love throughout the celebrations were Movie’ing Moments . Accurately photographing and filming the spirit of the celebrations, the team was able to seize heartfelt moments in stunning frames.

Wedding Functions
Mehndi
Themed ‘floral fiesta’, the mehndi was hosted indoors where the couple and their loved ones danced to their favorite beats while getting their hands patterned with henna. Pastel larger-than-life-sized blooms adorned the wall and created a picture-perfect backdrop. On the other hand, stalls decked with delicate ‘evil eye’ trinkets ensured the guests left for home with plenty of favors.

Haldi
Instead of going for the usual haldi ritual where the couple is slathered with turmeric, the duo opted for a ‘Phoolon ki Haldi’ where they were showered with flower petals. However, the decor adhered to traditions with garlands of marigolds, brass urlis to seat the couple, and yellow and green-hued furnishings for guest seating. A live bangle-making stall ensured the guests went home with pretty souvenirs. As the celebration progressed, the groom was pleasantly surprised as Srishti took to the stage for a surprise performance!

Wedding
For their wedding day, the couple eschewed bright hues for serene ivory tones. An ivory mandap lined by white blooms and propped by acrylic pillars was the centre of attention. A mandala-style monochrome backdrop adorned the mandap and ensured the couple’s pivotal moments looked elegant yet subtle. An audio guest book kept the guests engaged as they recorded heartfelt well wishes for the couple. The bride shares, “The pheras were hosted during the evening which was also when high tea was served along with a Meemees Ice Cream Cart. We had an elaborate meal for our guests which included crepes and flavoured cold coffee.” After the rituals, the couple celebrated their union with an energetic after-party.

Sangeet
The sangeet had everyone going glam with glitzy indo-western lehengas and sleek bandhgalas. Srishti shares, “We didn’t want a formal reception hence had sangeet night post-wedding which was a fun event for all guests.” Scarlet hues dominated the color palette with red blooms, red lights and the bride wearing a stunning ruby red lehenga. A vast stage with LED signage gave everyone ample chance to showcase their dance prowess while games between the bride and the groom’s side added to the entertainment factor. Liquid drummers treated the guests with a mesmerizing performance.

Srishti shares, “Enjoy the process completely from the very beginning. I strongly believe that the outcome of a wedding depends on how happy the bride and groom are together. So, be thankful to each other, stay hydrated and keep yourself well nourished as you gear up for the time of your lives.”
