From New York to India, Stuti Vania, a fashion designer and Viresh Jain, a finance professional, tied the knot in a heartfelt celebration that beautifully merged old-school romance with the cultural splendour of Indian festivities. Rooted in simplicity, elegance, and planning, each moment of their wedding reflected their warm personalities and enduring love. With the majority of the guests flying in from the US, the couple was deeply invested in offering their loved ones an authentic Indian wedding experience at Raajsa, Kumbhalgarh – IHCL SeleQtions. Wedding Planning
Conceptualised and executed by DS Wedding & Events, the wedding reflected a refined aesthetic anchored in simplicity, elegance, and emotional authenticity. Speaking about their experience, the team shared, “Stuti and Viresh were dream clients, clear in their vision yet completely collaborative. They didn’t want any extravagance for the sake of it, but ensured every element was meaningful. Their idea to skip generic room hampers, which often go to waste, and instead focus on timely, communal meals and immersive guest experiences truly elevated the hospitality for everyone involved.” Every element, from the colour palettes to the seating layouts, was discussed in detail, and the result was a series of immersive events that felt warm, cohesive, and deeply personal.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
Bursting with Mediterranean charm, the Haldi ceremony took on a Positano-themed palette of cobalt blues, lemon yellows, and bougainvillaea pinks. The decor drew inspiration from the iconic coastal town, with cascading florals, hand-painted signage, and bright canopies that brought the Amalfi coast to life in an Indian setting. Guests donned sunshine hues, dancing amidst a shower of rice petals and laughter.
Sangeet
As the night unfolded beneath a star-kissed canopy, the ‘Starry Night’ themed Sangeet stage came alive with swirling lights, dramatic entry sequences, and heartfelt performances. Set against a backdrop of cosmic swirls and midnight blues, the couple’s dance number stole the spotlight, surrounded by cold pyros, twinkling projections, and a sea of emotion.
Wedding
The wedding unfolded like a timeless fairytale beneath a dreamlike floral mandap, where layers of blush, coral, crimson, and ivory roses were interwoven with cascading greens to create a soft yet majestic canopy. Set against the night sky, the mandap glowed under ambient lighting, forming a breathtaking focal point.
