DoubleTree by Hilton Jaipur Amer ensured that the beauty of their wedding day was accentuated by stunning backdrops and also saw that every guest was thoroughly pampered and indulged.
How They Met
Sujata shares, “It was an arranged marriage setup where we met through our parents, and fortunately we clicked at the very first meeting. Although the period going up to the wedding, we ensured that we got to know each other better.”
Wedding Venue
When it came to choosing the wedding venue, the couple was swept away by the grandeur and the modern amenities that the DoubleTree by Hilton Jaipur Amer had to offer. The bride shares, “Yatharth hails from Jaipur and I’ve always loved the vibrancy of his hometown. So when it came to choosing the wedding venue, we wanted to find a place that would offer us scenic views while giving us a taste of the local culture. Fortunately, we came across DoubleTree by Hilton during our numerous scouting sessions and we couldn’t be happier! Surrounded by the Aravalli hills and approximately half an hour away from the various attractions of the city, this venue was like an oasis. Plus, it had spacious rooms and a variety of event spaces where we could have our celebrations. Thankfully, the pandemic was not at its peak which led us to celebrate to our heart’s content at this stunning hotel.”
Wedding Planning
For Sujata, her wedding was the perfect opportunity to express her vibrant personality and that of Yatharth. To make this dream come true the duo gathered a team of experts who would precisely understand their needs. On the decoration front, Sajawat Events took charge while Makeup by Bhavikaa Saluja made sure the bride looked her very best. Moreover, the bride’s company Suroso Organic crafted the bridesmaid boxes! Sujata shares, “For Yatharth and me it was the perfect opportunity to let our creative juices run free and we had an amazing time choosing the themes for every event.”
Weddings Functions
Haldi
For the Haldi, the couple zeroed in on a blue pottery theme that exuded serene vibes. Hosted in one of the venue’s vast courtyards, the event was a sun kissed one and witnessed the couple at their playful best as they indulged in wedding games. True to the theme, shades of blue and white dominated the decor while pops of yellow made a striking contrast.
Mehendi- Dandiya Theme
A Mehndi event calls for a plethora of colors and that is exactly what the duo achieved by selecting a Dandiya theme! Swathed in a variety of pink, purple and peach hues, this event exuded a bohemian vibe while staying traditional.
Sufi Night
Glamorous with a touch of mystery due to the dark themes used, the decor at this event urged everyone to shake a leg. Accentuated by white blooms and decorative lanterns the ‘Sufiyana’ theme was executed beautifully under Jaipur’s starlit sky.
Royal wedding
A truly royal spectacle where the bride and groom looked straight out of a desi fairytale, the Jain Wedding was a showstopper. Bedecked with blooms, chandeliers and following a red and golden theme the wedding shone brightly under the starry sky.
Advice For Couples
Reflecting on what she learned during the course of her wedding celebrations, Sujata suggests, “Have all the fun you can at your wedding, as moments like these happen only once. Do not miss out on anything and make sure to fulfill all your dreams!”
