Surabhi Kawad of SPR Constructions Pvt Ltd tied the knot with beau Jainik Jain in a mesmerizing display of grandeur in the pink city. Orchestrated by WeddingSutra Favorite – Dream Capture Events, the destination wedding was imbibed with the highest form of cultural and traditional values coupled with unmatched extravagance, offering a sensorial treat unlike anything else!
Wedding Venue
For the destination wedding of over 600 guests, the two luxurious properties of Taj Amer Jaipur and Mementos by ITC Hotels Jaipur were bought out in their entirety to give their guests an exclusive and exceptional experience. The seven functions were hosted across these hotels, along with other notable locations in Jaipur like Kundanvan, The Gulmohar, and Jaigarh Fort.
Wedding Planning
The wedding was Planned by the bride’s family, & orchestrated by Dream Capture Events. Hospitality, logistics, and guest relationship management was done by the team of Dream Capture Events & Studio Eventz did the show running! Sharing their experience, they say “They were really keen on creating unique experiences for their guests at every stage, from the guest welcomes at the check-in and every event to experiential décor for all the events. We remember our clients once saying ‘Everyone focuses on grand welcomes, events, and decor, but we also want to make sure that our guests are sent off feeling special’. To fulfill their wish, we also planned goodnight gifts, meals for the return journey, and gifts for all the guests during checkout.”
Wedding Functions
Garba Raas
Hosted at Kundanvan with the theme of “Ramleela”, the Garba Night was bedecked with hues of red and white. A striking floral tunnel welcomed the guests, while more flowers and lights filled the space within. Dressed in red, the couple walked in as their friends and family flanked the aisle, playing dandiya with each one as they passed!
Bride’s Haldi and Mayera
The next morning unfolded with the lively festivities of Haldi and Mayera, where the fiery brilliance of orange blooms set an ambiance of joy. A plethora of activities and experiences were arranged for the guests to enjoy, such as a bangle cart, gajra station, mandi, live pottery, live embroidery, ‘Bachpan ki yaadein’, canvas installation, and so much more. The ‘Nani ki rasoi’ corner, offering candy floss, bhelpuri, nimbu paani, kulfi, rabdi, kulhad chai, dry fruit ladoos, and more, was a hit among everyone! The bride made a showstopping entry amidst an explosion of flower petals and colorful smoke.
Sangeet
The evening lit up with twilight archways of love, as the Sangeet function unfolded with the mesmerizing decor of midnight blue, grey, and white. The entry from the venue to the lawn was in itself an amazing experience, imagined with 57 pillars and a sparkling iron installation with MI bars. Guests were offered shawls to keep warm through the night, and the moonlit stage was nothing less than a Bollywood awards night set.
The couple’s dazzling entry got everyone in high spirits, and the momentum continued with family performances. The stage was then taken over by the band Bombay Choir, who had everyone partying into the night.
Wedding
Hosted at Mementos by ITC Hotels Jaipur, the wedding was a floral extravaganza! The guests were received with a royal welcome, complete with nine elephants, four horses, two camels, and traditional folk dancers. The baraat procession, which included a DJ on wheels with dholis, was warmly received with sweets and garlands and welcomed into the palatial haven.
The couple exchanged varmalas amidst a flower shower as 80 color shots painted the sky, before proceeding for the phera ceremony. Hosted in true regal fashion at the property’s traditional baoli with amphitheater seating for the guests, the mandap was a vision in pink, crafted entirely out of flowers and bedecked with a glorious floral peacock on one side. The nuptials were carried out with musical pheras by Aalap Desai Band, making for a truly unforgettable wedding ceremony.
Reception
Flanked by glorious mountains, the Reception evening was orchestrated at the historic Jaigarh Fort with the transcendent theme of ‘Ayodhya’. The hues of rust, maroon, black, and gold cast a magical ambiance over the evening. The revelries began with the Raj Tilak, which saw lehenga-clad women dancing with thalis and diyas as 20 pandits did Ganga aarti. The visual excellence of this welcome was followed by a narration of the story of Ram and Sita and a performance by a plethora of traditional and regional dancers.
The newlyweds’ entry was accompanied by a royal performance on ‘Azeemo Shaan Shahenshah’, along with fireballs, cold pyros, and more. The musical stylings of the renowned Mame Khan then took over the night!
