Serene tropical vistas served as the perfect backdrop for this boho-glam wedding celebration.
Trishla and Pratik’s wedding celebrations showcased their individual tastes as well as their shared interests. All these attributes were perfectly woven into each wedding festivity by WeddingSutra Favorite – Evolve Weddings. The calm seas and gentle breeze set the perfect mood for the wedding, which was hosted at the Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa in Thailand. The bride, Trishla, shares the highlights of the occasions.
How They Met
“Pratik and I both belong to the fashion industry. He has a footwear business called Fiddaa Shoes while I work at FDCI. We met over dinner and cocktails, where we talked about how we were hungover from the night before. This was followed by a long walk on Carter Road in Mumbai. This was the very beginning of our relationship.”
Wedding Venue
“We were sure we wanted an intimate destination wedding with only close family and loved ones present. The Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa was the ideal venue because of its lagoon-style swimming pool, night clubs and beach-facing courtyard. We both enjoy places around water and were confident in our choice of a beach wedding.”

Wedding Functions
“Pratik and I wanted the functions to be simple yet fun. We had a boho-Woodstock themed welcome dinner, pheras where the decor was dominated by cherry blossoms and an all-white reception with large statement flowers and crystals. We also hosted a pool/beach party which included a bull ride, beer pong, personalized cocktails and a beer bar.”
Welcome Dinner
In keeping with the boho-Woodstock theme, the venue was adorned with huge butterflies and an array of assorted exotic flowers. There was coconut water ready for guests upon their arrival and golden Chiavari chairs and tables were set up on the sea-facing lawns. As the daylight faded, the open-air area was lit up with beautiful lights that looked like twinkling stars above the guests.
Pool/Beach Party
This event was filled with fun activities, from beer pong to darts, bull riding to dancing. The lawns of the venue were decorated colorfully, which added to the vibrancy of the celebration.
Cocktail Party
The cocktail party was a glamorous night. An enchanting entryway was set up, featuring pretty lights and red flowers. The main doorway was adorned with a stunning floral arch. The banquet hall was decorated with shimmering lights and a deep color palette of black, gold and red.
Haldi
The haldi ceremony was an indoor affair with drapes adorning the stunning venue. While the groom’s function was decked out with gold and shimmer, the bride’s haldi decor was made up of blush hues with florals.
Trishla’s haldi ceremony included the choora ceremony. It was an emotional affair full of memorable moments, with tears and laughter from the guests.
Wedding
The beach wedding decor was expertly set up by Evolve Weddings on the lawns of the resort. Drapes in a variety of colors formed a canopy above the chairs for the guests. The mandap was decorated in pastel florals and there was a delicate pink carpet, bordered with blooms, for the couple to walk down as they arrived.
Trishla looked gorgeous in a custom-designed Shriya Som creation, while Pratik looked dapper in a Falguni and Shane Peacock outfit.
Reception
The reception saw huge flowers and white drapes that made for an impactful decor at the venue. A customized dance floor was created especially for the occasion, with the initials of the couple on it.
Advice For Couples
“Don’t spend too much time on the decor because, at the end of the day, the guests will only notice how you are decorated. Choose the right hair and makeup artist and go for something out of the ordinary. Last but not the least, stay hydrated and try to get enough sleep.”
