How they met
Varsha “It all began at the ITC hotel in Hyderabad when our fathers unexpectedly met, setting the stage for Mani and me to cross paths for the very first time. I had just returned from vacation, feeling ill-equipped to make any major transitions in my life, yet over a cup of tea, we struck up our first conversation. That initial encounter blossomed into a series of meetings, during which I quietly pondered my feelings while Mani explored his own.

With each interaction, our bond deepened—his calm presence complemented my playful spirit perfectly. Before long, Mani took a bold step forward, and one afternoon during lunch, he proposed that we take our relationship to the next level. Without a moment’s doubt, I agreed. Now, it feels like destiny that the hotel where we first met will also play host to our wedding in Goa. Our shared sense of humor and effortless connection have brought us here, proving that sometimes, the universe works in beautiful, unexpected ways.”

Wedding Venue
In honor of their first meeting at an ITC property, the couple chose the ITC Grand Goa as the venue for their wedding. Just a short 20-minute drive from the airport, the beachfront resort boasts the unique charm of Indo-Portuguese vintage architecture, along with a selection of bespoke indoor and outdoor banquet spaces, ideal for hosting diverse events, all complemented by exquisite culinary offerings.

Wedding Planning
The couple roped in the team of Purple Tree Event Solutions to plan every detail of their dream wedding, while the team of The Wedding Square designed and executed the decor for every function.

Wedding Functions
Varmala
The celebrations kicked off with a vibrant varmala ceremony by the shore, adorned with candy-hued decor and a stunning floral arch set against the shimmering sea. The couple dazzled in neon green ensembles by Abhinav Mishra, featuring his signature mirror work, as they exchanged garlands amidst a spectacular display of fireworks and cut a cake to great applause.

Haldi
The haldi celebration unfolded by the stunning pool, adorned in vibrant shades of pink and orange, featuring balloons, blossoms, and printed umbrellas. Nestled beneath a grand tree, the haldi setup was covered by a stunning cascade of flowers. As the couple made their entrance, friends held up colourful smoke bombs, and their loved ones showered them with water and flower petals during the ceremony.

Sangeet
The Sangeet night was glamorous and edgy, with a bold heart-shaped stage that was unlike any other! The bride dazzled in a magnificent silver lehenga, while the groom shone in a sequined achkan. Their captivating performances, enhanced by a troupe of backup dancers, left the audience in awe, making the evening truly unforgettable.

Brunch
The following morning unfolded with a sun-kissed brunch. The serene ocean-inspired palette of whites and blues was adorned with fresh blooms and eclectic decor elements. Colorful parasols added charm to the occasion as friends and family joyfully held up white balloons to welcome the couple. The atmosphere was vibrant and brimming with joy.

Wedding
The beachside wedding was filled with the fiery brilliance of a sunset palette, with hues of orange and rust lighting up the twilight sky. The occasion saw rustic-chic decor, with plumes of flowers and earthy pampas grass. The couple exchanged their vows beneath a stunning floral mandap, and their union was celebrated with a breathtaking display of fireworks.

Reception
The festivities culminated in a lavish reception adorned with lush floral arrangements and dripping crystals, while antique chandeliers, candles, and lamps filled the space with a warm glow. The joy on the newlyweds’ faces was unmistakable as their family and friends celebrated the start of their new life together.
