Wedding Planning
Working on a tight schedule, wedding planners Shreem Events weren’t hesitant about going the extra mile to ensure that the duo’s vision came true. And despite the time crunch, they pulled out all the stops to create two events that left everyone spellbound. Devanshi Patel, from Shreem Events, shares, “Vidhi and Kunal wanted an intimate wedding which was elegant and regal. And, to breathe life into their vision we made sure there was complete clarity from day one itself. The brief we received from them was to have minimalist decor that consisted of earthy elements and greenery, and these were incorporated in the wedding as well as the reception. All in all, working with Vidhi and Kunal was a joyful affair as they were very involved in the planning, design, and decor aspects.”

Praising Shreem Events on their planning skills and creativity, Vidhi’s mom adds, “Having Shreem Events onboard was extremely helpful as they looked into each detail with pin-point accuracy. They even arranged live instrumental music during the wedding which enchanted everyone.”

Working on the couple’s brief, Devanshi and her team went about creating a mandap that looked straight out of a fairytale. She recalls, “To achieve the rustic, natural theme that exuded South Indian vibes, we included various decor elements throughout the venue and also added a photo booth for the guests. Replete with bright marigold flowers, brass bowls and kuththu vilaku (brass diyas), everything incorporated into the decor was inspired by nature. Additionally, there was also a sectioned candle wall that lit up the venue as the duo tied the knot.”

Reception
Contrasting the quintessentially desi theme of the wedding, the reception was a chic and royal affair. Devanshi shares, “After the wedding, our mandap was replaced by vintage standing lamps and a grey sofa that contrasted the deep red pillows. Accentuating the whole look was a wooden flooring, a traditional rug and wooden barn style chairs which added a rustic flair to the reception stage.”

Another highlight of the occasion was the couple’s entry which was celebrated with much pomp and cheer. To welcome them as newlyweds, their loved ones created an aisle with LED fitted balloons that glimmered cheerfully in the night.
