Vipra and Ramkinker, Meerut
This bride chose to eschew tradition and donned a magnificent mint green and gold embroidered lehenga for her big day.
Vipra and Ramkinker, based in California, chose to tie the knot in their hometown, i.e., Meerut so that they could be surrounded by their loved ones. A celebration replete with joy, banter, and music, this wedding ticked all the boxes with its vibrancy and was photographed beautifully by WeddingSutra Favorite – LensEyeZia Productions who with their skill behind the lens ensured that not a single beautiful moment was missed!
How They Met
The duo first crossed paths almost a decade ago while pursuing their undergraduate studies. After dating for 10 years, they decided to start a new chapter in their lives with a grand Indian wedding.
Wedding Planning
Luckily the couple’s nuptials were held before the lockdown hit. And, since the couple was extremely keen on having all their family members present, they made sure that everything went ahead smoothly by roping in expert vendors. On the photography front, they chose LensEyeZia Productions who understood their vision with complete clarity. With their energetic and enthusiastic team, each shot expressed a plethora of emotions that left the couple speechless.
Weddings Functions
Haldi
Following the traditional route, the Haldi decor consisted of orange and yellow blossoms. As her family members gathered around to slather her with a mixture of turmeric and yogurt, Vipra was all smiles as she playfully smeared her family members too.
Mehendi
With the aim of having different color schemes for each of their functions, the duo zeroed in on a vibrant theme for their Mehendi which included a floral arch, pastel-hued drapes, and vivid blooms. Looking gorgeous in a light peach sequin lehenga, Vipra shone brightly as she got henna patterned on her palms while Ramkinker lovingly looked on.
Sangeet
Adorned with a floral backdrop that was intertwined by sparkling fairy lights, the Sangeet had everyone shaking a leg along with the bride and groom. Dressed in a silver sequin gown, Vipra gracefully showed off her dance moves on stage.
Engagement
Stepping up the glam quotient, the engagement ceremony contrasted the mehndi ceremony with its glitz and dark color palette. Dancing against the shimmery backdrop to their favorite Bollywood tunes, the couple enjoyed themselves thoroughly as their family members joined in too.
Wedding
Under the glaring winter sun, the duo’s wedding ceremony went exactly as envisioned by them. Attended by all their family members and friends, the wedding was a joyous celebration from start to finish as each guest reveled in the comforting weather and offered their blessings to the newlyweds. A stunner in a Sabyasachi lehenga, Vipra glowed with happiness as she made her way towards her groom who complimented her in a white sherwani.
