Wedding Functions
Mehendi
Kicking things off with a sunkissed soiree, the rooftop mehndi carnival lit up the majestic architecture of the palace in soft romantic hues of mint and pink. The decor was flower galore with gorgeous arrangements adorning every inch of the setup, interspersed with nature prints, bird statuettes, ruffled drapes, and canopies. The lively occasion saw laughter, music, and dance, as The Suryansh Project had everyone on their feet.
Sangeet
An air of decadence enveloped the festivities as the evening transitioned into the Sangeet function. Ornate chandeliers, iconic artwork, plush seating, crystals, breathtaking installations, and more infused the evening with opulence with a touch of whimsy, all of which was bathed in magical blue lighting.
The ice sculpture crafted for the couple’s ring ceremony was the highlight of the night, which featured the couple’s sagan rituals followed by stunning dance performances and a nonstop jam session with Manj Musik.
Haldi
Filled with fun, laughter, and madness, the haldi ceremony was a riot of colors! An abundance of marigolds decked the space, contrasted by quirky upholstery with vibrant prints and embroidery. Carts of coconuts, chocolates, and traditional juttis for the guests as they enjoyed a riveting performance by Rajasthani singer Mame Khan and relaxed with some foot spa.
Wedding
Brimming with grandeur, the wedding ceremony was royal as could be! The verdant poolside lawns were transformed into a royal haven with rich red tones, gilded elements, ornate chandeliers, flowers, and more. The highlight of the ceremony however was the mandap of flowers that cast an ethereal ambiance over the rituals. From the entrances to the varmalas, every moment was replete with the extravagance of The Big Fat Indian Wedding and left their guests in awe.
