Wedding Functions
Mehendi
Vrinda shares, “The mehndi was named ‘Time For Africa’ and as the name suggests, we wanted to give this event an African-inspired aesthetic. Dhrupesh even sent Kikoy cloth all the way from Nairobi to the design team to make the event look as authentic as possible. A percussionist played beats that resembled traditional African music and we had a gala time at this unconventional mehndi event.”

Sangeet
“Dhrupesh’s vision for the sangeet consisted of equal parts fun and elegance. At the end of the day, we just wanted everyone to have a good time in an environment that was comfortable and festive. After much deliberation with the design team, we designed the sangeet around the island bar. Elements like larger-than-life white blooms, LED arches, a vast stage with a digital backdrop and flashing lights completed the setup.

Haldi
With the theme ‘Color me with Love’ the haldi was a significant event for the couple. Yellow blooms basked in the sunshine within Moroccan vases while floating balloon shots kept everyone in high spirits. The flower shower was picture-perfect and later, the family hosted a simple Gaur ceremony. In this ceremony, rice husks are given by the bride to her family after which the family circles her seven times and returns the husks back to her wishing her happiness.

Wedding
Vrinda shares, “For the wedding, I had a specific vision in mind and the design team ensured that everything was perfect! The setup was traditional yet contemporary. A combination of white, gold, red and a bit of blush was the design team’s brainchild which inspired much awe. The latticework white mandap was paired with a chrome aisle lined by tuberoses and the entryway was lit up by crystal chandeliers.”

Advice For Couples
Vrinda shares, “Your wedding planner should be someone you instantly connect with. As a couple, we were fully involved in the smallest of details at first. Then, as we gained confidence in our team, we took the backseat and let everything fall in place. Budgets with adequate margins were fixed and strictly adhered to. Everything was meticulously planned in advance, right from menu, the sequence of events to the vendor co-ordination.”
