When Vrushali Doshi, who runs Edumaame, an after-school program for early childhood learners, and Shanay Shah started planning their wedding with WeddingSutra Favorite – Believe Weddings, a few things were clear. Vrushali, a lover of all things detailed and personalized, wore the creative hat. Shanay, a senior equity data analyst at Bloomberg, was the epitome of understated elegance. His preference was elegant and classic styles. Together, their sensibilities were reflected in each detail of the wedding, with décor design inspired by some landmark global events!

Aashay Samel & Aditya Kedia of Believe Weddings share that one of the highlights of the celebrations was the inclusion of the couple’s beloved dog, Glen Shah. “A special dog cart was created exclusively for him, as he graced each celebration as one of the most cherished guests of honour” they add.

For their Mehendi, Vrushali drew inspiration from a whimsical world of colour, imagination, and oversized charm. Having personally experienced a similar fantasy at Disneyland, she envisioned a vibrant, playful atmosphere filled with lively hues, interactive games, and a sense of joyful wonder.
Sangeet
For the Sangeet, the inspiration was drawn from the dazzling world of the IIFA Awards—a night defined by glitz, glamour, and grandeur. The celebration was imagined as a sparkling after-party filled with energy and elegance, yet executed with perfect organization and style.
Wedding
The Wedding took its cues from the royal elegance of the nuptials of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan and Harry. With St. Regis’ grand interiors reminiscent of a regal setting, the couple envisioned a décor rich in red tones, complemented by an abundance of white florals and soft, flickering battery candles—creating an ambience of intimacy, romance, and timelessness.
