Celebrating their journey of a decade, childhood sweethearts Zeel and Siddhanth rang in their nuptials with a grand wedding designed to perfection by WeddingSutra Favorite – Wedlock Weddings by Vima. How they met
They say there is nothing like falling in love with your best friend, and Zeel and Siddhanth’s journey of friendship to happily ever after is a testament to that. Crossing paths at the age of 16, the two were drawn to each other by their opposing personalities and began their companionship of more than a decade which transformed into love over time.
Wedding Planning
Opting for one of Bangalore’s largest convention centers, the couple hosted their grand wedding celebration at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center. To bring their vision of Wedding, Haldi, and Mehndi decor to life, they entrusted the team of Wedlock Weddings by Vima, while the planning and execution of other functions were entrusted to a variety of talented vendors. Lightbucket Productions captured their precious moments in stunning frames.

Wedding Functions
Haldi
Filled with exuberant yellow decor and sunkissed festivities, the Haldi function dawned bright and cheerful. Seeking inspiration from their cherished memories, the stage was set up with giant tissue daisies as a nod to Sid’s old nickname for Zeel for growing up, making for an endearing personal touch. The morning saw rousing music and family dances, followed by the haldi ceremony where the couple were seated in grand brass urlis and doused in turmeric, flower petals, and love.
Sangeet
Taking a cue from the couple’s love for Bollywood, the red-carpet Sangeet night was filled with the glitzy decor of velvet and cinema lights, a grand stage, and neon signs. The evening saw rousing dance performances and nonstop enjoyment that continued into the night.
Wedding
The vast convention centre was decked with the regal allure of red roses, the bride’s favorite flower. After a grand baraat and bridal entry under a stunning red phoolon ki chadar, the couple exchanged varmalas on a royal floral stage under a halo of antique chandeliers and foliage. The stunning red floral wall and decor of the mandap contrasted with the ivory of their exquisite outfits as they performed their pheras under a round canopy of flower strings.
Advice for couples
“It is helpful to have a rough idea of what you want for everything from decor to makeup and outfits before you approach your vendors. Also, selecting the right vendors is crucial, as that can make or break your wedding. Look for people who have positive reviews from their clients to ensure they deliver as promised. Most of all, stay positive and enjoy the planning process, as it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience”.
