Honeymoon Planning
Vikram Samant from Quantum Travels was our single point of contact throughout the trip and even our most basic queries like “how to get a SIM card ” while we were on the move were answered very promptly.
Honeymoon Highlights
We spent five nights in Cape Town and it was wonderful. We stayed at the Table Bay Hotel. We had a chauffeur driven car at our disposal. We were lucky to have good weather to have a great experience when we were taken to Table Mountain.
We stayed at the Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge got to see the Big Five and took a Bush Walk in the the wild which was quite incredible. Then there was the phenomenal Shark Cage Dive in Hermanus. Which was an experience we will never forget.
Best Meals
Namrata is vegetarian but I am a hardcore carnivore and the variety of food in South Africa was brilliant for both of us. The red meat was amazing and I also got to taste crocodile meat which tastes like a fusion of chicken and pork.
Most Romantic Moment
Every single memory we have of the trip is romantic but our experience at the luxurious SabiSabi Bush Lodge may have been the highlight of our honeymoon. Everyone there was so hospitable and warm and welcoming.
Advice to Couples
Don’t eat a heavy breakfast or stuff yourself with food if you’re going on an adventurous expedition and if you get seasick, choose your adventures accordingly.
