Parakh and Rohan – Australia
High on endorphins Down Under – Parakh and Rohan traveled by sea, land and air on a wonderful honeymoon in the land of Oz.
Married on the 20th of January 2017, Parakh and Rohan from Delhi are still basking in the afterglow of an amazing ten-day honeymoon in Australia.
Honeymoon planning
It was summer there and Australia is a perfect combination of adventure and beauty. They considered New Zealand and the Seychelles but they’re a little ‘too’ scenic and serene for them.
Honeymoon Highlights
The couple visited Melbourne, Cairns and Gold Coast. They loved the hotels they stayed in: the Royce Hotel in Melbourne, at the Sea Temple Resort by Pullman- Palm Cove in Cairns and the Meriton serviced apartments in the Gold Coast.
Parakh says, “The main highlights of our honeymoon were the hot air balloon ride, snorkeling, a sunset cruise and the Great Ocean Road drive.”
Best Meals
“Our best meal would have to be at The Cardamom Pod in the Gold Coast. The restaurant serves Indian-Australian fusion cuisine and the service is fabulous. We loved the lasagna and the desserts!” she says.
Most romantic moments
Parakh remembers one particular moment, “We were at the Palm Cove Beach outside our resort. We had a view of the clear blue water, the sound of the waves crashing around us, there was no one else around… We kissed. It was very private and romantic.”
Must Experience
The new bride loved several things, “The Great Ocean Road drive, the beautiful beaches, that hot air balloon ride, amazing food and of course, the hospitable people!”
Can Avoid
“Snorkeling is an option if you’re not a water baby.”
