Mehendi
Following a traditional theme, the close-knit Mehendi ceremony was hosted at Neesha’s parent’s house where a joint haldi ceremony was also held for the bride and groom. A cheerful occasion that celebrated the unfolding of a new chapter in the duo’s life, it consisted of a Chooda ceremony too and was punctuated by merry folk songs and boisterous dance performances.
Wedding
Combining eastern and western traditions, the wedding was a stunning event where the groom made his entry riding a horse. Greeted with a performance by the bride and her squad of bridesmaids, Sean was pleasantly surprised as he entered the venue. Neesha shares, “For the mandap, we had our heart set on an elegant and modern mandap to be in sync with the venue. Hence we decided to go with delicate hues and blooms. After the ceremony, lunch was served outdoor on the lawn.”
Reception
Hosted at a parking lot, underneath a transparent roofed tent that was adorned with glimmering chandeliers and disco balls, the reception was a glitzy affair where the newlyweds took the dance floor by storm.
