Shikha and Rahul

Shikha Sharma is a consultant and Rahul Mishra is an Anesthesiologist who live in Texas, US. They have lived in US for most part of their lives and got married at Signature Manor, Sugarland in Texas.

 

 

Shikha’s mom and sister were the ones behind making the most important day of her life even more memorable. Shikha shares, “I realized during the planning of the wedding that having family around is just as important as having your own likes and ways for your special day. Right before the reception, I decided to change my mind about seating charts. It meant that we had to rearrange a lot of different tables to accommodate everyone. While I was getting my hair done for the reception (an hour before the event), my sister was working on the seating chart. My sister is very patient, hardworking, and relentless. If something is on her mind, she will get it done. With that said, all of a sudden, I heard a sound coming from the corner of the room and it was my sister quietly sobbing. She was frustrated and stressed out that she couldn’t figure this out. I immediately ran to her, looked at her and both of us burst into a peal of laughter. Within next ten minutes, with some brain storming and some laughs on the side, we figured out the seating chart together. This situation made me realize that weddings are going to be filled with stress but by the end of the day, you only remember the memories you made with your loved ones that were filled with smiles, joy, and laughter. “
