Wedding Planning
“Our wedding photographers were the team at Happy Flashbacks and every time I go through my wedding album I find myself smiling. Right through the functions, they were with us no matter what time of day it was and it made all the difference. Noopur kept reminding me to keep only one thing in mind; be natural and smile. When I saw my wedding portrait and my ‘getting-ready’ video I was so overwhelmed I couldn’t contain my tears. I am absolutely in love with this team and I will never get tired of recommending them!”
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
“Our mehndi had a carnival theme and keeping the mood in mind, I wanted to wear an outfit that exuded a lively vibe. Since this was a day function, I picked a pastel lehenga from Tusya Couture at Chandni Chowk. The outfit featured impeccable embroidery – flowers and vines – in blue, gold, pink and green. The lehenga was paired with the prettiest off-shoulder blouse complete with fringed sleeves.”
Sagan
“We decided on an Indo-Western theme for the sagan and I wore a very contemporary lehenga by Falguni & Shane Peacock. The pale pink fabric showcased the beautiful silver work. Falguni customized the lehenga’s long trail for me, herself. A gorgeous frilled dupatta with a feather trim made the ensemble look truly magnificent.”
Haldi
“Going with a yellow outfit for the Haldi was a no-brainer in anticipation of the turmeric stains. My yellow gown was by Tusya Couture, Chandni Chowk and it was my friend Sunaina Thakur who helped me plan this look. I pulled my hair back in a ponytail and a few floral jewellery pieces brought a sense of freshness.”
Wedding
“Needless to say, this was the most important day of my life. I wanted to look my very best. I had always dreamed of being a Sabyasachi bride, because his designs are so timeless. I chose the rani pink Sultanpur lehenga from their August 2018 collection and felt like a queen every minute I had it on. The outfit was paired with jewellery from Tanishq. The green kundan pieces from their Padmavat collection enhanced the regal appeal of my look and it was just what I needed on my big day!”
