Claudia Robles-Hill

An artistic mix of her Mexican heritage, Indian silhouettes and Thai hues - this bride’s wedding wardrobe made a colorful statement.

Podcaster Prakhar Gupta and artist Claudia Robles-Hill celebrated their cross-cultural Indo-Mexican union across India and Thailand over five thoughtfully curated days. The Thailand chapter, held towards the end of November, set the tone for a series of immersive celebrations that blended Indian, Mexican, and Thai influences with quiet confidence. As an artist, Claudia’s wedding wardrobe became an extension of her creative voice, rooted in cultural storytelling and shaped by a refined, contemporary sensibility.

Wedding Planning
Claudia approached her bridal style much like her art, with a clear understanding of colour, form, and intention. Each look drew from tradition but was interpreted through modern silhouettes and global references. Indian craftsmanship met Mexican vibrancy, softened by Thailand’s tropical ease, resulting in a wardrobe that felt cohesive yet varied, and deeply personal without being overt.

Wedding Functions
Boat Party
For the boat party, Claudia embraced relaxed glamour. Her turquoise ensemble featured a sculpted bikini paired with a fluid, embroidered wrap that moved effortlessly with the sea breeze. Minimal jewellery and sun-kissed makeup kept the look fresh and unfussy, perfectly suited to the setting while still feeling considered.

Indo-Mexican Mehendi Fiesta
At the Mehendi Fiesta, Claudia wore a sari-inspired silhouette infused with Mexican colour palettes. The look balanced playful hues with intricate detailing, complemented by statement, whimsical hair accessories, a matching necklace and a berry-hued pout.

Thai Sabai Sundowner & After Party
For the sundowner, Claudia opted for a contemporary lehenga that combined gunmetal hues with soft lavender tones and floral embellishments. The silhouette was fluid and modern, paired with statement gold earrings and sleek hair, allowing the colours and textures to take centre stage.

Haldi
The Haldi outfit was one of the most personal moments of Claudia’s wardrobe. Custom-designed and inspired by her own artwork, the ensemble featured dainty flutter sleeves, handprints and sunset hues. She completed the look with her hair pulled back, a colorful eye look that featured a pop of turquoise and statement gold earrings.

Western Vows Ceremony & After Party
For the Western vows, Claudia chose a structured yet romantic look with a gown that featured a corseted bodice and layered draping. Her veil gave the entire ensemble a dash whimsy with white blooms sewn delicately to the tulle. The additions of rich purple orchids to her hair was a nod to Thailand’s tropical beauty.

Hindu Wedding
For the Hindu ceremony, Claudia wore a classic lehenga in a muted lavender hue, richly embroidered with delicate gold threadwork. A statement maang tikka and soft wavy open hair completed the look, allowing the outfit to shine. It was timeless, elegant, and fuss-free, allowing her to enjoy every moment of the day.

The reception saw Claudia return to high-impact glamour. Her strapless ensemble featured an intricate beadwork bodice-style top and a figure-hugging skirt with a dramatic drape, complemented by side-parted hair styled in waves, matching jewellery, and neutral makeup.
