Isha Multani
Taking inspiration from WeddingSutra and the expertise of the top designers, this bride got her dream wedding wardrobe.
Having handled social media accounts of several well-known wedding artists in the industry, this bride was already a step ahead in assembling all her wedding looks. From her wedding ensembles to her jewelry, bridal influencer Isha Multani, as she tied the knot with entrepreneur Ronak Daftary, co-founder of TurfPark.com, had a crystal clear picture of the final looks she wanted at all of her functions.
The couple’s nuptials were captured gracefully by the very talented WeddingSutra Favorite – Sam & Ekta Photography. She shares details about her different looks with us below.
Wedding Planning
The beautiful bride recalls, “I did thorough research before deciding each of my looks. I wanted to break away from the usual range of designs. But I also wanted to be trendy and striking. That balance wasn’t easy. So, while I picked the most popular designers in the country, I consciously chose to go with their most unique outfits.”
She further shared, “WeddingSutra’s blogs were the benchmark in all my research. Each and every article on the site was so useful in giving me an insight into what works and who the most renowned vendors are. Be it outfits, vendors or artists, I found a lot of inspiration from the articles. The ‘Real Weddings‘ section has always fascinated me. I loved digging deep and knowing more about all the vendors that made all these fairy-tale-like weddings come true!”
Wedding Functions
Garba
The excited bride already had an inspiration in mind for decoding her Garba outfit. “For my Garba look, I wanted to channelise my inner Deepika Padukone from Ram Leela,” she shared.
Her multi-coloured Garba attire was designed by Debyani and Co. It had delicate mirror work and hand embroidery which laid emphasis on authentic Gujarati designs.
Mehndi
For the Mehndi ceremony, Isha dressed in a red lehenga-choli and dupatta with floral prints, designed by Anita Dongre. She shared, “Since I wasn’t going with any traditional colors on my wedding day, I decided to go with a proper red outfit on my Mehndi ceremony.”
She donned a gorgeous hairstyle with blue flowers and butterflies decorating her braid. Her pearl-studded jhumkas completed the look for the function.
Wedding
On her special day, the bride dressed in a breath-taking bronze gold lehenga designed by none other than the couture maestro, Sabyasachi. She shared, “I didn’t want to be the quintessential bride in traditional colors like red or pink. I decided to pick an offbeat shade of bronze-gold which was different and elegant at the same time.”
She paired her outfit with a regal neckpiece, maang tikka, passa, nathni and matching earrings to enhance her look. Her perfectly blended smokey eyes by Makeup Artist Varsha Gidwani, and a vibrant floral bun completed her look.
Sangeet/Reception
Isha shared, “Finally for my Sangeet/Reception, I knew I wanted a Manish Malhotra designed outfit. But I also wanted to look like a Disney Princess, so I decided to customize it.”
The flowy tiered lehenga with heavy embroidery work made the bride look like a real life princess. She paired her outfit with a striped top, a tulle dupatta and an elegant set of beaded jewellery.
