Kiran Chatha
The bride was styled in creations from India’s best designers, setting major fashion goals.
With an intimate wedding hosted at a neighborhood Gurudwara in Toronto, Sunny and Kiran’s nuptials were a wonderful blend of traditions, rituals, and fun. A four-ceremony celebration that saw the bride dressed in the creations from some of India’s top designers wowed everyone, here is how it all unfolded.
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
A vibrant mehndi ceremony started off the festivities. The venue looked stunning in traditional Indian decor, including colorful umbrellas and phulkari carpets and cushions. Kiran’s outdoor mehendi ceremony was a boisterous affair for which she wore a bright, sunshine yellow Astha Narang gharara, teaming it with a sheer white dupatta with intricate copper detailing.
Sangeet
The sangeet saw the bride wearing another Astha Narang outfit in baby blue. Embellished with rich gota patti work, the blue lehenga was the perfect pick for the bride, and really stood out against the vibrant backdrops at the venue.
Wedding
For the pheras, which were held at a Gurudwara in Toronto, Kiran wore a gorgeous pink lehenga by Sabyasachi. The lehenga boasted several quintessentially Indian motifs – paisleys, florals and elephants. This was teamed with two baby pink dupattas draped over her shoulders and head. For the wedding ceremony, the bridesmaids were dressed in peach anarkalis, contrasting perfectly with the bride’s outfit.
Reception
The couple’s marriage was celebrated with an opulent reception at the Chateau Le Jardin in Ontario. The decor comprised beautiful crystal chandeliers, drapes and flowers. Kiran wore a stunning sage-green embellished outfit by Manish Malhotra with a gorgeous diamond necklace and earrings, teamed with a set of hot pink bridal chooda.
