With assistance from her mother and after months of research, Priyanka curated an exquisite trousseau featuring diverse inspirations and creations that were a blend of her unique tastes and flawless craftsmanship. She shared with us a glimpse of the festivities that were hosted at the Taj Aravali Resort & Spa in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Wedding Venue
Based out of Dubai, but originally from Mumbai, Priyanka had always dreamt of a royal wedding in a palatial city, and chose the Taj Aravali Resort & Spa in Udaipur for her wedding festivities. The couple hosted five functions over four days at this luxurious venue surrounded by the beautiful Aravali mountain range.

Wedding Planning
“Wedding shopping can be strenuous as every bride wishes to look her best. It took us six months of visiting designers and curating different styles according to different functions with separate themes to create my wedding wardrobe, with the help of my mother. Ojas Rajani, my makeup artist, was god send! Spending so much time applying and removing makeup for different functions can get really tiring for a bride, but she made the experience very enjoyable. I loved the looks she gave me, which were very natural and feminine and not too overpowering.”

Wedding Functions

Welcome
For the breezy welcome function, the bride looked fresh and festive in a light lavender lehenga with mirrorwork and a sequined top. Her unique top knot hairdo perfectly framed her glowing, dewy face with flowing curls. Soft nude lips, bold lashes and warmly contoured cheeks perfectly finished off her beautiful look.

Lohri & Cocktail
A traditional lohri was followed by a glamorous cocktail party, for which the bride wowed all in a scintillating midnight blue Manish Malhotra ensemble which comprised an intricately embroidered skirt and a gorgeous top with eclectic detailing. Nude lips, bold smoky eyes, long lashes and exquisitely curled locks looked elegant when paired with her minimalistic diamond jewellery.

Mehndi
Priyanka opted for a short, quirky lehenga from Papa Don’t Preach by Shubhika for the mehndi which was an outdoor event. Fresh flowers adorned her wavy hair, while striking floral jewellery teamed with some traditional pearl and polka bling complemented her look. Fresh, minimalistic makeup added a rosy glow to her youthful visage.

Sangeet
For the sangeet, Priyanka chose a contemporary silver couture piece from Shantanu & Nikhil. The bold, geometric elements featured exquisite embellishments in a stunning way, and paired perfectly with an elegant pulled back hairdo with cascading ringlets. Nude lips and statement blue eye makeup enhanced the delicate grace of her face, and quaint diamond jewellery added a touch of sparkle.

Wedding
For the wedding, a richly embellished maroon and gold lehenga with zari work which was paired with a double dupatta by Cilvana Designs brought out Priyanka’s inner queen. A statement polki necklace, mathapatti and maharani nath also added to her regal vibe. To complement her rich ensemble, Priyanka’s makeup was centered around copper smoky eyes, soft blush lips and glowing cheeks. A chic bridal bun studded with white flowers finished off her look.
