Set against Montenegro’s dramatic coastline, Simren Kaur Jasuja’s wedding wardrobe balanced contemporary fashion with meaningful tradition. Planned by WeddingSutra Favorite, Weddings by ESL, Simren and Akarsh Narang’s five-day celebration became a masterclass in destination wedding dressing, with each look thoughtfully chosen to complement the mood, setting, and significance of every event.
Welcome Party
For the jungle-themed welcome party, Simren chose a custom mirrored co-ord set by Itrh. The reflective embellishments echoed the energy of the evening. Styled with soft waves and minimal jewellery, the look felt youthful, modern, and destination-ready.
Holi-Haldi
For the Holi-Haldi celebration, Simren embraced a fuchsia embroidered crop lehenga, a more playful aesthetic that complemented the cheerful yellow setting and seaside backdrop. Fresh florals, natural makeup, and easy silhouettes allowed her to move freely through the festivities, which culminated in all 400 guests running into the Adriatic Sea together.
Sangeet
The Sangeet called for glamour. Simren wore a white shimmery Seema Gujral couture ensemble featuring intricate embellishment and a structured silhouette that photographed beautifully against the ballroom’s pink floral installations.
Anand Karaj
For the Anand Karaj on the couple’s aptly named “Secret Terrace”, Simren chose a red Dabiri lehenga featuring detailed embroidery and traditional craftsmanship. The look struck a balance between classic Punjabi bridal dressing and contemporary design.
Her accessories carried equal significance. Family heirlooms were incorporated throughout, while her bridal hairstyle featured a long braid adorned with delicate butterfly accents. Against a backdrop of mountains, sea and floating rose petals, the look felt timeless without being overly traditional.
Reception
For the final celebration, Simren returned to Itrh in a dramatic couture ensemble that showcased a completely different side of her style. Featuring intricate embellishment, layered detailing and statement accessories, the look embraced a more fashion-forward aesthetic.
A tiara-inspired headpiece, striking jewellery and a glamorous beauty look completed the ensemble, making it a fitting finale to a wedding wardrobe defined by versatility and attention to detail.
