Fashion influencer and stylist by profession, bride Tanishq Malhotra curated a stunning couture wardrobe with distinct ensembles from top designers for each of her functions that channeled her unique style language with panache.
Wedding Planning
The couple’s wedding was an extravagant celebration of love in Hyderabad planned by The Global Wedding Company, every detail of which was executed to perfection by Marigold Weddings. Their special moments were captured in breathtaking detail by the award-winning team of Gautam Khullar Photography.
Wedding Functions
Mehndi
For the Mehndi soiree, Tanishq channeled the ethereal vibe of a garden fairy with a floral lehenga in tones of blue and green. The Mishru creation featured the designer’s signature floral designs and intricate embellishments, which the bride styled with a Victorian-style Polki necklace and a matching dupatta that she wore as a cape. The piece-de-resistance of the look however was the statement headpiece that showcased a massive central crystal. Keeping the makeup minimal save for a bold lip and eyeliner, the bride allowed her look to really shine!
Engagement
Tanishq matched the ‘Cards’ theme of her Engagement function with a stunning champagne-hued Gaurav Gupta couture lehenga befitting a queen. Exuding a sculptural grace that has come to be the designer’s signature style, the ballgown style skirt featured ribbed layers with delicate pearl edging, teamed with an exquisite corset styled blouse with tulle and even more pearl detailing. Flaunting an edgy textured ponytail, she opted for glowy natural makeup with warm tones to let her outfit shine and kept her jewelry minimalistic sticking to a diamond choker and studs.
Haldi
For her Haldi ceremony, Tanishq added a touch of high fashion to tradition with a vibrant mango yellow Bhumika Sharma lehenga embellished with ornate silver zardozi detailing. Her sleek locks were adorned with an elaborate floral head-dress cascading down her back while matching earrings and haath-phool completed her look. With a fresh face and rose-hued lips, she looked sun kissed and radiant.
Wedding
Tanishq embraced being a true Sabyasachi bride in a classic red kaleedar lehenga. The vintage vermillion shade of the couture piece was hand-embroidered with gilded intricacies and was perfectly offset with rustic Polki jewelry and bohemian smokey makeup. Her ornate blouse with a bold plunging neckline added a flavor of modern glam, while the net dupatta embroidered with ‘Ayushmati bhava’ tied it to tradition.
Reception
Tanishq reflected the Grecian theme of her Reception soiree with an icy silver Jade by MK lehenga co-ord. The all-over sequined couture ensemble featured a modern high-neck blouse with a ravishing net back, delicately embroidered sleeves and a gradient lehenga bottom that added a rich transition. She swapped the dupatta for a flowy train attached to the skirt that was personalized with their details and made for a unique look. A sleek sculpted bun, bold ruby lips and antique jewelry further added a modish touch to her look.
