Over the past 10 years they have been involved in curating some of the most exclusive events, festivals and conferences where celebrating food with underlying themes of sustainability, zero waste and inclusivity have been central to the menus.
At the helm of it all is Chef Ritu Dalmia. Ritu Dalmia is recognized as one of India’s finest chefs and innovative entrepreneurs. She opened the first-ever Italian restaurant in India in 1993. She has hosted several TV shows on Italian food, culture and travel to initiate, expose and educate the Indian viewers to the nuances of the Italian way of life. Her shows have a viewership of over 11 million people. She has also had the honor of cooking for Queen Paola of Belgium, Former President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi of Italy and various other world leaders. Ritu has been conferred with the Ordine della Stella d’Italia, as an officer of the Italian state, for her services to champion Italian tourism and gastronomy in 2017. Ritu also started ‘Accademia della Cucina’ in India, in collaboration with Carlo Petrini, founder of the Slow Food Movement in 2002. Ritu’s entrepreneurial spirit and contribution to the hospitality industry have been recognized by many institutions, including Forbes which put her on its list of ‘W-Power Trailblazers 2017’.
