About Epic Stories
Epic Stories has emerged as a formidable force in wedding photography and films, guided by a philosophy rooted in emotion, intent, and thoughtful storytelling. Founded by Himanshu Patel, the studio approaches weddings not as staged productions but as meaningful moments unfolding organically. Their visual language blends candid, documentary-style storytelling with a refined editorial sensibility, capturing the emotions, nuances, and fleeting exchanges that define an Indian wedding celebration.
Over the years, Epic Stories has travelled to more than 20 destinations across India and internationally, documenting weddings across cultures, traditions, and scales. Their evocative work has been featured in renowned global publications, including Vogue, Elle, and The New York Times. The studio was honoured with the Wedding Photographer of the Year 2025 title by WeddingSutra and was recognised among the Top 50 Wedding Photographers in the World by DWP Congress 2025.
Among their most talked-about projects is their documentation of the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, widely described as the wedding of the century. Despite the grandeur of the celebrations they capture, Epic Stories remains committed to an intimate and unobtrusive approach. By quietly blending into the rhythm of the festivities, they focus on preserving moments in their truest form, allowing couples to revisit the emotions and atmosphere of their wedding day for years to come.
