Celebrity Blogger Miss Malini married Nowshad Rizwanullah in Goa. Miss Malini (yes, her blog remains MissMalini.com even after the wedding!) shares her photos and experiences
Goa- the Perfect Wedding Destination
From the very beginning we had our hearts set on Goa. We have such
fabulous memories from trips to Goa with all our friends and it gives
your guests a chance to make a mini vacation out of your wedding at
the same time. In fact we attended several weddings in Goa and were
even more convinced each time that this was the perfect destination
for us. Both our venues were magical, Montego Bay Beach Village and Marbela
Beach. Having two venues at close proximity makes the process of
shuttling guests a lot easier! Also we had a great team on Sound,
Lights, Music, Make Up, Hair, Camera Crew- you name it. See my
recommendations below!
A Festive beach-y theme
I guess we had what you could call "A Big Fat (Fairy Tale) Indian
Beach Wedding!" So the entire theme - from the message in-a-bottle
invitations to flip flops, hats and sarongs for everyone in baskets as
they arrived at the mehendi- incorporated a festive but beach-y theme.
Marry Me- The Wedding Planners and Designwalla's (a fantastic design
outfit based out of Delhi) worked together to create magical little
touches like a beach-inspired M&N wedding logo, a hand-fan with
details of the wedding rituals, a welcome booklet with event
information, thank you tags on our welcome gift baskets/survival kits
and even photo op signs scattered around the venue!

The Wedding Planners
Having Marry Me- The Wedding Planners on board was by far the most
amazing decision we ever made. Candice and Jarret spent months putting
together every detail without ever once stressing us out or saying
"No, it can't be done." When I walked into my mehendi I was blown away
by how beautifully it had been all put together and it was very
evidently a labour of love (same for the sangeet and reception.) The
reason I would recommend Marry Me to every bride and all my
yet-to-be-married friends is because everyone always tells you that
weddings are stressful & traumatic to put together, but if you have
planners with impeccable taste and excellent execution skills you will
actually be able to thoroughly enjoy your own wedding like we did
ours. Our planners were so well organized and in tune with our vision
throughout that the whole process was a delight and I want to do it
all over again!
Gift Registry
With so many things to keep track of on your wedding day, Wishberry.in
was a major convenience. Since they centralize everything in one
place, we didn't have to worry about keeping track of gifts or
shipping boxes home to Mumbai from Goa. Our guests were able to easily
contribute towards things they knew we would use, which I think was
especially convenient for our guests from overseas. Now that the
wedding is over, Wishberry also makes it easy to send out our thank
you notes, as all gifts and contributions are clearly listed on our
page.
