Against the striking landscapes of Muscat, Sneha Khetan and Manav Agarawal’s wedding unfolded as an immersive celebration that seamlessly blended Omani heritage with contemporary luxury. Thoughtfully conceptualised and flawlessly executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Mosaic Events Oman, the multi-day festivities brought together rich cultural storytelling, elevated design aesthetics and deeply personal moments, creating an experience that felt both grand and intimate in equal measure.
Wedding Planning
With a vision rooted in creating distinctive guest experiences, Mosaic Events Oman curated every celebration with remarkable attention to detail and atmosphere. From transforming venues into immersive thematic worlds to weaving local Omani influences into the festivities, the planners crafted each event, hosted in the pleasant month of February, with a strong sense of place and personality. Every function carried its own unique visual language while maintaining a cohesive narrative of understated luxury, warm hospitality and experiential design.
Wedding Functions
Welcome Dinner
The celebrations commenced with a spectacular welcome dinner inspired by an authentic Omani Souq Night. Designed as an immersive cultural experience, guests were welcomed through a vibrant walk-through setup reminiscent of a traditional souq, complete with spice giveaways, Omani mussars, live oud perfume making stations and traditional musicians. The amphitheatre venue transformed into a richly layered celebration of Omani culture with warm ambient lighting, handcrafted accents, textured decor details and heritage-inspired styling that felt opulent yet rooted in authenticity.
One of the standout moments of the evening was the couple’s dramatic entrance, accompanied by Omani men and women carrying flaming mashals to the beats of an energetic Bollywood track, a striking fusion of regional tradition and celebratory glamour.
Beach Brunch
The beach brunch embraced the relaxed sophistication of a contemporary beach club experience. Set against a pristine private shoreline, the afternoon featured a crisp blue-and-white palette, elegant lounge-style seating and an atmosphere of effortless coastal luxury.
The couple’s cheerful walk-in set the tone for the celebration, made even more memorable with balloons released into the sky as they arrived. Guests dressed in breezy resort wear soaked in the laid-back energy of the afternoon while the DJ and a multi-instrument percussionist created a lively soundtrack that perfectly complemented the beachfront setting. Interactive experiences, including live calligraphy artists, hand fan artists, dart games, penalty shootouts and vibrant live food stations, added playful energy to the afternoon, creating an engaging and spirited celebration by the sea.
Sangeet
The Sangeet unfolded against a breathtaking outdoor backdrop of dramatic rock formations illuminated under the night sky. Inspired by a Secret Garden theme, the decor blended whimsy and sophistication through immersive styling and layered design details. Ambient lighting cast a soft glow across the celebration, while elegant statues, curated furniture settings and sculptural installations transformed the space into an enchanting garden-inspired escape. The entrance walkway, adorned with arches, hanging lampshades, sculptures, and statement installations, quickly became the most-photographed corner of the evening. The night culminated in a vibrant afterparty under the stars, with guests dancing late into the evening amidst the magical setting.
Wedding
Following an energetic two-hour baraat, the wedding ceremony unfolded within a stunning courtyard transformed into a refined blend of traditional Omani architecture and contemporary elegance. At the heart of the space stood a minimalist beige mandap inspired by Arabic arches, seamlessly integrating regional architectural influences with modern design sensibilities. Surrounding water features lined with pottery installations added warmth and texture to the setting, while elegant furniture arrangements and muted decor tones allowed vibrant pink florals to stand out beautifully.
One of the evening’s most emotional moments was Sneha’s graceful bridal entry beneath a floral chaddar, accompanied by her brothers, sisters and women carrying traditional bukhoor holders. The celebrations continued with a dramatic Jaimala ceremony elevated through theatrical special effects that created a magical atmosphere for guests.
Reception
As the wedding ceremony concluded, guests descended into a reception that carried forward the evening’s refined elegance. Designed around a subtle ‘starry night’ concept, the celebration embraced understated luxury through soft lighting, intimate styling and a relaxed ambience.
The decor remained intentionally minimal, allowing the warmth of the gathering and the beauty of the setting to take centre stage. Conceived as an evening where guests could unwind and meaningfully connect, the reception felt deeply personal and effortlessly sophisticated.
