The classic red, the vampy oxblood, the sensual brown – all these lip colors are great but there’s nothing like a punchy pink to perk up your pout. Sure the color has been around forever – but any color that’s stood the test of time is usually versatile enough to be styled on-trend for today.
Don’t take our word for it. The ramps at the Lakmé Fashion Week were positively popping with pink. It’s fresh, it’s young and as spring arrives, it is the color to wear.
At the latest edition of WeddingSutra on Location, makeup artist Mausam Gandhi unveiled the trend with the Lakmé Absolute Matte Ultimate Lip Color With Argan Oil in Orchid Pink. The bullet left a velvet matte texture on the bride-to-be’s lips and the intense colour payoff lasted all day long.
