Parthip highlighted the mood of the moment in the industry – A need to stay positive, yet not be over-confident or over-optimistic. Parveen Chander elaborated on the huge challenge that the hospitality industry faced, and how they were quick to fire-fight while adapting to the clients’ needs. He also emphasized on how Taj properties will always be a preferred venue for those seeking memorable weddings. Anuja Mittal talked about timeless gifting and how it has seen some big innovations in the last few months. From gourmet food to elaborate hampers, many of which included traditional items for prayers and well-being too.
Rakhee Lalvani, Vice President Public Relations at IHCL
Sonam Babani talked about a realism that has now dawned on brides who are accepting of how celebrations can or should be held with all safety precautions intact in the new normal, while Yash talked about how when it comes to fashion and bridal wear, there will always be a need for bridal studios which will inspire brides to think about how they’d like to dress for their big day. One needs to touch and feel the fabric and also enjoy the exciting experience of the outfit trials, something that no virtual platform can offer.
Manasi quipped that she’s still waiting to watch how and when the Sangeet aptly teamed with its good energy will woo back the couple and all their guests to groove and dance safely and happily under the same roof.
